I bought this book as an "extra little something" to go along with a gift for a friend's baby shower. Little did I know, I could have skipped the other gift altogether. The momma-to-be read a lot of the book aloud during her shower and had the rest of us rolling with the illustrations and her acting out the parenting tips. It was the hit of the party! Definitely worth the purchase!

This book was quite the educational read! Not only did it inspire several good jokes played on unsuspecting friends, but has definitely given me safe/effective methods for keeping infants happy and healthy (and for keeping myself out of trouble with the CPS, like who knew the I couldn't duct tape baby to the wall? not me that's for sure!)

A crucial guide for any new parent!

This little manual offers a wealth of information about all of the trials of raising a young child. Topics include checking a baby's bottle, playing with your baby, showing off your baby, and more!

Each chapter contains descriptions that are concise and slightly silly. These are paired with entertaining illustrations that aptly convey the right and wrong in a given situation.

This is a highly entertaining read that I would recommend for any new parent with a sense of humor. I received this as a gift, as I'm pregnant with my second child. My three-year-old was "reading" the book with me and I only hope she doesn't follow through with what she got from just the illustrations. Other than that potential downfall, I highly recommend it! It would make a perfect addition to a baby shower present for new parents.

This is the perfect gift for any new parents with a sense of humor. Handy tips for keeping your kids safe and entertaining illustrations definitely show you the right and wrong way to handle almost any situation. Maybe give this as gift with a roll of duct tape (read the book).
