As expected for the price, but still pretty cool.by a.w. (4 out of 5 stars)

Ok, let me begin by saying these are pretty cool, even if ours were broken upon arrival...(they had to have been broken before shipping..couldn't have happened during shipping by the way it was packed..so this is *not* a shipping issue!) When held up to the eyes, the lense part does work..you can see behind you! I'm not really fond of the scratch on the inside of the lense that came with ours, but it can't be seen when holding the glasses to the eyes. For the price, all as expected. I think my son will still enjoy them even when it's in two pieces...a little superglue does wonders.
Would I purchase this again? Probably.
saved my life!

These glasses saved my life! I was being followed by a Russian agent in the Ukraine when I saw him through these glasses aiming a poison dart gun at me from behind. With a smoke bomb I also bought on amazon and a homemade grappling hook, I managed to escape. Its good to know that even with government budget cuts, good cheap spy gear can still be purchased on the open market.
Bad Quality

It arrived 8 days after ordering which is a lot sooner then I expected. It will definitely come in handy and is supposedly UV 400. Seems sturdy enough. The really cool thing is that from the front you cannot tell that there are mirrors. I can even put my finger in front of the mirror (which is behind the glasses) and from the front of the glasses see my finger where the mirror is supposed to be!

It actually looks really bad from the front. And the quality is bad as well. I can't use them because it is obvious that it is a toy or..... actually I don't know what people think when they see me wearing these. Remember when you see a movie in theaters in 3-D. And they give you glasses. Those glasses are constructed better and are more durable than these. Maybe it's just the pair I got. When I wrote the review before I am surprised that I didn't notice the way the lenses from the front are all discolored and have greenish patches. Unless I did something. anyway I don't think I did. If you don't have a lot of money then it isn't worth it If you can afford to gamble with $3 then go ahead.

I bought this for my nephew who was 9 at the time.
I was a nice addition to a "spy kit" I put together for him.
The glasses where fairly large for a kid with a smaller head though,
Over all a fine addition to my gift considering the price.
My son loves having a secret visual "superpower"

My 9-year-old boy loves these! He's delighted to have the power to see behind him without his friends knowing. He's also very amused by the effect of walking forward and seeing what's in front of you getting closer... at the same time as the mirrors show you what's behind you, getting further away.
One disappointment, though: These are shipped from the Far East, so allow LOTS of time. Mine took well over a month to arrive.
Worked really good! No one could tell

Worked really good! No one could tell. Only thing is they definitely look like plastic party classes but you can't tell it's function from looking at it without knowing.
Really do the job

These really work. I walk a lot and sometimes bikes and people were behind me and I never knew. I never had a problem but the what ifs came to mind when it happened. Takes a few minutes to acclimate then it's all good! I put them over my glasses and take bread ties to secure to glasses. Then I just leave them on these when I get home. I also use an eye glass wrap to secure the extra weight. Once you set it up it's simple.

I ordered these by accident after I turned on the one click ordering, but since they were only a couple dollars I didn't bother trying to cancel or return them. Once they arrived, I tried them on and they are actually pretty cool. There is some kind of mirror inside that allows you to see behind you. They would probably come in handy when riding my bike, but my vanity wouldn't let me wear these in public. :-) I ended up giving them to my nephew to play with and he loves them.
Surreptitious Covert Observation Spy Sunglasses

These are way cooler than I expected.
I didn't have high expectations, but wanted to see how they were made.
The frames are about what one might expect - not to be mistaken for Ralph Lauren.
The 'lenses' are completely flat having a dark blue mirror front surface,
and the rear surface is mirrored at the outer edges only. The apparent tint of
the lenses is neutral grey. They actually work reasonably well... Look to the side
in order to see behind you.
The view to the rear is not directly behind you, because your head is rather in the way.
If your head has the diameter of a beer can, you may not suffer this limitation.
Everyone on this planet should have multiple Surreptitious Covert Observation Spy Sunglasses.
On other planets, they should be quite popular. Don't panic, and bring a towel.
Overall good.

Works really nice. Good to catch pranksters trying to make a joke on you during a prank war. The only thing I didn't like was that the black paint started to rub off.
