Very cool Movable Cat Ears to Wear
by P. Fandrey (4 out of 5 stars)

My 14 year old daughter has been asking me to buy these for her over a year. When she graduated grammar school I told her I'd get them for her. She couldn't wait to get them. She was so excited when they came. She loves to wear them. She says that the head band was a good fit and feels well made. She can tilt her head down to pick up things and it doesn't fall off. She does say that the battery pack feels a bit large. She loves the way the ears move and how they seem to go down when she's relaxed. They perk up when something grabs her attention. She doesn't mind the there is a slight hum when they do move because "its kinda cool that I can hear they are moving". The slip on slip off fur ears do have right and left marked inside of them so you know exactly where to place them. WE also purchased the black and pink ears to go with this and they don't seem to be made as well as the one's that came with the set. I personally feel they are priced rather high but how can you put a price on your child's happiness.

Prepared and careful

I've had my ears for 3 weeks they were 2day shipping and came on time but because I kept forgetting to get batteries I'm just now really using them and I'm loving it. I read a lot of reviews from different sights and feel prepared to use them. Be gentle putting/ taking them off especially if you are getting in the car which I wouldn't wear them as you do, get lots of batteries it takes 4 AAA at a time know that if you have an active brain like me and like to wear them a lot you'll need them 2 days of wear and changed them once so far. To me the weight and ear clip are not bad I even forget it's there though I've only worn them without earrings, the movements kind of feels like a tiny massage and fits well on my head, noise isn't too loud if your TV is on it will drown the sound out, I do have to keep adjusting them when I'm bending a lot, I'm a poc and have to make sure my wavy hair is out of the way of movement, DO NOT TOUCH EARS WHILE THEY ARE MOVING! Use the base to adjust while wearing them, if the sensor slips I've had to turn it off then back on to have it read again. I don't worry about covering the long pack because I wear them only in the house. I personally think they really work I'd wear them all the time if I could my husband thinks I look adorable with them on and I'm 33yrs. Some like to concentrate to learn to control how they move. I like to have them move naturally to my brain for true emotions to show, my hubby thinks it's better this way since I tend to hide my feelings. I would've given a higher rating if I could choose what color they came with (white) instead of buying covers separately and I for one would like a better warranty encase they do get damaged.

I loved these, however...

Okay so I've been wanting these for 9 plus years. I finally got around to buying them now that I'm 20 years old. :/ however I pulled them out of the box tried them on and they worked fine for the first couple minutes I was just sitting on my bed looking in the mirror trying out the emotions and watching the ears move. I went to take a video of them to send to a friend when the right ear started screaming and having trouble moving, as for the other ear it was moving fine. I'm not sure what happened I wasn't rough with it and didn't dare mess with the motor is the ears rested on. For the short time I got to enjoy this I loved it. I was really looking forward to bringing these out to a convention later this year. As of right now I'm returning the product and I don't know if I'll buy Them again or just look somewhere else.

For that short 10 minutes I loved these. I love the idea back when I first saw them and to this day I still do. It just so happens the pair I got was a little defective. Very sad but unfortunately the stuff happens.

Good Fun
by Amanda P. (4 out of 5 stars)

I purchased these for Halloween last year. They are great for surprising people. Many people were surprised when they would twitch. I managed to scare a few of my professors and peers when I turned them on in class. The twitching isn't quite what I expected. The range that the ears move is not quite what a real cat's range of movement is, but it is pretty close. When the ears are on, you can feel and hear them moving. It may sound loud to you, but your friends shouldn't hear the motors at all.

The headset is a little tight across the head and the forehead sensor is supposed to press against your head and that can be a bit of an annoyance if it gets bumped a while into wearing the headset. The ear clip sensor is similar to a clip on earring so you shouldn't mess with it after you have it clipped on until you are ready to take it off. If you mess with the clip before you plan to take it off, it could hurt a lot when you reattach the clip.

Be sure to buy good quality batteries for the headset. It takes four AAA batteries and can quickly drain low quality batteries or batteries meant for low drain uses. The better the batteries the longer the fun can go on uninterrupted! Also, if you want to keep your new headset working optimally for longer, remember to remove the batteries when not in use.

The head band can be hidden under your hair if you want to hide it. The power box is not as easily hidden. When the headset is turned on, there should be a blue light glowing on the power box. The light will start blinking if the battery is low.

Overall, a great buy, but remember to use good quality batteries, and take them off for a while every so often if you are going to wear them for several hours.

Very Disappointing Product
by Nikki (1 out of 5 stars)

I ordered these for my daughter for Christmas. She was so excited about these and couldn't wait to try them out. To our disappointment, the ear piece clip was broken right out of the box. In addition, the motor worked for the first day, and then petered out after that. What a horrible purchase for such a high price and long wait for delivery. I bought these in November, and to my surprise, the price has now jumped up $30. Buyer, beware of purchasing this product without reading a good mix of the reviews.

Cute! Actually works!

cute and works well! It took me some time to figure out how to get it to work properly without it being stuck in calibration mode. I then realized it was because my hair was in the way. The ears can be a little heavy and noisy so it's difficult to wear for a long period of time, but they are cute and fun! I got a chuckle at making one of my guy friend's wear it while we played a card game. It was funny seeing the ears droop down when he was dealing the cards, then perking up when I called his name, and wiggling while he was thinking.

The ultimate party accessory!

This is my third and last pair now that they are being discontinued, sadly. You can't resist trying one on, if even for the gimmick effect, they are dead cute and adorable (just ask my kids who have both of my earlier pair). I got the white though there are third party ears for it. I doubt we will see these again. If you ever do find a pair, grab them. The motors do churn a lot but when they start twitching, it is so cute. Also a great way to introduce folks (kids too) about the EEG, simple as these are.

Fun, really read brainwaves, EXCELLENT customer service, BE CAREFULL TO KEEP LONGER! Way worth price

They really do work. You can even focus on one feeling and they will react to them that way. Family loves watching and they laugh cause I say one thing and my ears imply another and they can see it happening. lol. I wish I could walk around with a mirror, but hearing them move and react to thoughts makes me smile. CON: They use 4 AAA batteries and don't last long-solution, use rechargeable batteries. Also very fragile.

WARNING: when I wear these, my family loves to sneak up on me and scare me because I may not scream but my ears will perk in surprise. Similar results may occur. lol

Take care of them, keep case AT ALL TIMES for long life and care.

My family got another one of these for me 4 years ago, but I was abroad and couldn't play with them till I returned to US year later. I guess I wasn't careful enough because they broke after only a few times out of box (they are very fragile but WAY WORTH IT!!!). I contacted company to see about refurbrushing/recycling, because they just seem so high tech and a waste to just throw away. Instead they offered me discount. At the time I couldn't buy, but they were cool and allowed the offer to remain till I could, which I got now. Its a good fun toy, be gentle with it, READ WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS-they are only two cards with pictures so read, avoid physical contact to ear motors, don't use in high humidity, you will love.

Amazing

They're really cool, I made my own realistic ears to put on them and they really add a realistic touch to my cosplay.

I hid them under my own wig by cutting a hole where the ears are, make sure it's big enough or it might damage the ears. If the wigs thick it'll hide right under, make sure to put the sticker on the button. I also sewed fabric around the head band to help with the soreness from wearing them. The engines make a sound, but I don't mind. One more thing, make sure to use the strap or else it'll slide or possibly fall off. Sadly I can't wear this with my real hair because it gets messed up, but I still love it.
