They don't make them like they use to....

The quality of these sandals have gone down significantly. I've probably owned at least 3 pairs of Sanuk Sandals, but this last pair i've received. They're stiff, no cushion, and they've taken the padding out of the braces. Before it use to feel good on top of foot, but now it's just like every other cheap pair sandals. Really disappointed in what i got. Not the same sandal I've bought over the past 5 years. Quality has really taken a dip. Also, i typically wear a 10.5. I ordered the 11, which is what i usually do, and thankfully i don't have fat feet, because they're a really snug fit.

In the picture I've attached, you'll notice the difference in the quality of sandal. the top sandal is my original ones i have now. Love them, and you'll notice there is more padding on the brace, vs the new bottom pair. THEY'RE BROKEN IN, and have more padding than the brand new pair.

Very disappointed in this flip flop. In 2015 I ordered a pair size 13 M because I have a really wide foot. To my surprise they worked great and I wore them almost everyday during the summer. After 3 years of use they broke so I immediately go to order a new pair and I don't know what changed with them but they wouldn't even fit my wide foot. I was extremely disappointed that something has changed in the making of this sandal as it is really difficult to find any type of sandal that fits my wide foot.

Beware they are either irregulars, fakes or defective with low to no quality control.

I have been wearing Sanuk for years and one of the best things about them is they need to break-in time. I have always just put the new ones on and never had a problem. This pair is either defective, irregular or a knock off fake. They hurt from the second I put them on, the straps are not attached correctly they were closer together than others I have. This made them unwearable.

Have had several pairs of these same flip flops over the years and think they are a very good product. Have had both size 11 and 12's. I usually wear a size 11 shoe. The 11's were bought on line and were small, but used them as a backup pair to my 12's. Ordered 12's this time and everything on the package and item says it's a size 12. Put them on and they were smaller that my old size 11's. In the photo new size 12's are on the left next to old size 11's. The two stars are not as much for the quality of the Sanuk's but for the fact that they have sized them a couple of sizes smaller that real life. If you wear a size 10, these would fit! Will buy my next pair in a store and try them on before purchasing.

I love Sanuk...I've primarily worn/owned Sanuk for 15+ years. I bought this particular pair for my son (he wears 7.5 shoe). I bought size 8 for "room to grow" but they were too small to fit on his foot far enough for the toe string to even touch the inner part of his toes. also this style is like a nylon upper and its is not nearly as comfortable as I am used to with my own sanuks. bottom line, buy a full size larger than you wear in shoes (this is true of my own pair, but I forgot that was a thing when I ordered these) and if you get cheaper styles of Sanuk, expect a noticeable drop in quality. these seem like a different brand entirely from my own $35 sanuks. I think they are a good choice for the $18 I paid, but they aren't the traditional sanuk quality I am used to and the sizing is hard to judge, which is why I gave them 2 stars.

Poorly designed.

I was excited for these flip-flops, but quickly realized that they were poorly designed. The padding is the best part, which Sanuk is famous for. The strap however, was far too tight on my feet (would easily cause blisters) and doesn't have any stretch to it at all. I could go for a bigger size and get a looser strap, even though I am a true size 10. However, even on the size 10 in these, the size of the base sandal itself is huge. It already looks unnaturally large on my foot, so the next size up would be even more odd-looking.

For some foot shapes, I'm sure this flip-flop would great. But it's not very universal, so I am giving it three stars. Beside the tightness of the strap, they are very comfortable.

I normally wear a size 9, but I have learned long ago that for sandals, I prefer one size smaller. These are no exception.

I purchased my first pair of Sanuk sandals while on vacation at a Florida Theme Park after my shoes got soaked. They served well while walking around for the next 3 days, and I used them for years after.

They finally died......purchased these from Amazon, and are just like the original pair I bought on vacation. I will always own a pair of Sanuk.

This is my 6th pair of these. I purchase at least 1 pair every year because I wear them so much the bottoms get holes in them. I hated having anything between my toes for many years and found flip flops to be very uncomfortable. That all changed when I purchased my first pair of Sanuk beer cozy flip flops. I wear them almost the entire year since I live in central TX. They're great for cruising, last almost an entire year of regular daily use. Easy to clean, and absolutely the most comfortable pair of shoe apparel I have. I leave them in my camper and have a pair by the bed and the door. That way I have a pair of them wherever I am. I have turned my wife, mother, and sister onto these and everyone loves wearing them. Absolutely the best bang for the buck you'll get out of a flip flop.

Held up to a 7 day cruise

I'm pretty bad about only buying cheap flip flops (like the super cheap foam and rubber generic ones you might get at some big retailers) but they always seem to squeak really bad when they get wet. I had a cruise coming up and wanted to get something a little nicer that wouldn't make noise when I was walking around the pool deck so I snapped these up knowing that they are a brand that I've always thought looked nice. They fit a little snug at first but broke in a bit. They still fit more snug than I've typically worn but I kind of like that honestly. They are well cushioned and didn't make noise when wet. Can't speak to how long they'll hold up but so far I'm impressed at the price.

These are excellent and are very comfortable. My wife and her brother have been obsessed with Sanuk's for a while now and I usually wear junk $2 old navy flip flops. I wanted something that I could wear all day on a beach vacation that can get wet and wont make my feet hurt. Not too much to ask for... These were excellent. I wore them in and out of the water... along the beach and through the sand... walked over 12k steps in them.

These didnt hurt my feet after all that walking... That was the first surprise that I found. 12k steps in flip flops sounds like a suicide mission however it wasnt bad at all. Also, I love the fact that getting in and out of the water and sand they cleaned up and looked good without a lot of effort.

It did take a few days to break in correctly and get the traction broke in.
