melted in transit, but refunded money

I ordered an 80s candy crate in July. When received the package, there were ants all over the box. When I opened it, at least half the candy was bad (melted, leaking, sticky candy stuck on it, ant in them, etc). Some of the candy (lemon heads, bit of honey) got soft and leaked out of the unsealed packaging onto the other candy pieces and packaging material, and the other half was mostly covered in the goo. Beware of picking up your box right away in warm weather.

However, after I complained to the seller, they refunded my money right away.

This is poor, just hard candy nothing decent or rare. All this stuff can be found elsewhere for far better value. Also the food items are not of a quality or flavor that would be chosen if you were in a store. Do not recommend this item at all.

I ordered this for a Christmas present for my husband. It came onetime, Nicely packaged with a good amount of candy it had what was shown in the picture. It also had the Candy Cigarettes which was cool since you cant by them at a reg store that sells candy. My husband and I are both 80's kids and it brought back a lot of good memories.

No Pop Rocks, No Fun Dip, No Razzles, No Boston Baked Beans - clear misrepresentation. 80% of the candy in this box can be purchased today. Not worth the cost at all. very disappointed.

love candy from my childhood

I purchased this for my best friend from grade school. growing up in the 80's were fun and they had different candies back then. it was fun seeing them offered in a gift box. when she received it she said it brought back fun memories of our childhood. I would recommend this box to any one looking for some good times.

Definitely had a lot of candy, but I would have liked to seen more products that are currently unavailable. I woudl still recommend this for a quick gift idea, everyone in the house loved it.

I bought this gift for my brother and his wife, since my brother and I were big candy addicts in the 80's. He received it on time (which was during the last holiday season) and they absolutely loved it! He thought it was so great to see some of the old candy that you can't get in stores these days. I did not personally get to see the item, but it seemed to make a gift for them and they really enjoyed it.

The filler candy as I call it was old, hard and stale. I picked out the candy that was still okay and through the rest away. There are better boxes than this.

Honestly, the main reason I am giving this only two stars is the price. There was hardly any candy in this box at all!!! I can't believe it cost $30. There was maybe $3 bucks worth of candy inside. Very disappointed in the product for the price.

The box was very nice but the amount of candy inside was very limited. Nothing you can't find in a neighborhood store for half the price.

I would not recommend to a friend!
