Useless piece of equipment.by alanj (1 out of 5 stars)

I purchased the USB Vacuum Cleaner/hoover for laptop to clean the dust off of my keyboards. When I received the unit and plugged it in, I could hear it run, but absolutly could not feel any vacuum whatsoever. I pressed the turbo mode and the noise got louder but there was no discernable suction. I held it down to a small piece of fuzz that was lying on my surface area and if I touched the fuzz, it would pick it up and stick it onto the brush. This thing is absolutly useless; it does nothing. It is beyond me how anyone could put something like this on the market; don't they ever try out things before they sell them?
Any how, Amazon refunded my money and never got back to me about returning the unit. It is still sitting here on my computer stand waiting for someone to tell me if they want it returned or not.

This is the most useless product ever created. It is a fan, there is no vacuum power whatsoever. The turbo button made the fan spin faster. The air from the van comes out of the vents supposedly designed to keep the gadget from overheating. Absolutely no vacuum, and the air from the fan doesn't even come out of the attachments so it cannot clean anything. Your laptop will be just as dirty after buying this "vacuum" as it was before you bought it. The light on it does work, but only illuminates the dirt in the laptop that it cannot clean.

No Suction At ALL!!! Just Noise!!!

You by a vacuum cleaner to suck up dirt, if it does't have the power to do that it is ' worthless '!!! This vacuum cleaner is ' WORTHLESS '...Instead of doing it's job, it pushes the dirt between the keys and ultimately where you can't get to it with a brush. I sure hope there are better ones out there. But this had the ' Hoover name attached to it, but it was still a bad purchase!!
I should have paid attention to the Star rating

First, a positive for Amazon, the description clearly states that it is being shipped from Hong Kong. A complaint I filed a few weeks back on the subject. Now for the product, it doesn't work. It is extraordinarily loud for such a small piece of equipment. There is no On/Off switch so as soon as you plug it in, it starts. But the main thing is it did not pick up anything The brush is useful for getting into crevices, but you have to clean it off yourself. With the tube head you can feel the tiniest bit of sucking, the brush end is a blower also not strong enough to clean anything away. Maybe there is a good vacuum for keyboards but based on the ratings, it doesn't seem likely. Find a tool that is like the brush head end and buy an Oxo dual ended cleaning brush.
Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money. Ridiculously loud and the price does not begin to reflect how truly cheap this device is.
- It does not suction any better than you can with lung power
- it is horrifyingly load with no speed adjustment control. All you get is on/off
- cheap, cheap, cheap plastic housing
If you are thinking of spending money on this, don't.
But if you insist on spending money this direction, try this instead:
Take the money you were going to spend, and set it on fire. Watch it burn to ashes.
That will be a far more satisfying use of the monsy than giving to these people.
Or even better, go find a rock. Anywhere. Maybe in your shoe. Then give the money to some random stranger.
You will still be far more satisfied with the eschange.
Amazon. Creaqte negative stars please. 1 star presumes that this piece of s*** had value.

USB Mini Vacuum Cleaner - Poor Suction
by Lisa (3 out of 5 stars)

The vacuum was just "OK". The suction was very poor. I had
read other reviews and that was one of the other comments but
I thought maybe they were comparing it to their home vacuum
which the suction would be considerable better. I wouldn't buy
this item again and wouldn't recommend it until there is a bigger
horsepower to the suction.
Oh, at the attachments that were recommended to go with it
DO NOT FIT!!! That was the reason I went with this particular
brand over others because it recommended the attachments.

Route 66:
It took me two weeks to finally receive the USB Vacuum Cleaner. The first vacuum cleaner was lost during the shipment to my residence. Route 66 tried to help me by sending a second USB vacuum cleaner. Once I did receive the USB vacuum cleaner, both the low and high speed vacuum speeds worked along with the LED. Then after three minutes of operation the LED went out and only the high vacuum speed worked. Route 66 was very apologetic and agreed to give me a refund, since the USB vacuum cleaner was defective.
Fun but Unwise

I tried hooking this vacuum cleaner up to the USB hub that I ordered at the same time. It would not even start, which says more about the hub than the vacuum cleaner. Pushing the "turbo" button caused all the pretty lights on my USB hub to go out so long as I kept my finger on the button. I decided not to gimmick the USB hub with extra power to try and fix the problem.
After hooking the vacuum cleaner up to my netbook it worked fine, including the high speed button. Later I attached it to a monitor usb port at work and it was noticeably underpowered. Pushing the "turbo" button caused my monitor to stop working completely. Fortunately power cycling the monitor fixed that problem.
For all the laughter and fun I have had with this preposterous device, I strongly recommend not attaching it to any electronic device for which you have feelings.
