These stir sticks/ice cubes are just too 'cool'!

I bought these for my husband for Father's Day. He took them out of the box, rinsed them off, and immediately filled them with water. This is where things got tricky. Because the tray for these guitar cubes is silicone, it is not rigid enough to hold itself flat and level. We needed to set the silicone tray on another tray to keep it level and not spill all the water in the freezer. And because we have lots of things in the freezer, without a designated ice cube tray area, where the tray can sit level, we had to try to rearrange the frozen item in the freezer, trying to make a flat spot on which to put the guitar cube tray. After that they froze quickly! They came out of the tray very easily! and they looked like tiny guitars!! Very cute!! My husband loved them!!

Bigger than expected

These are a great product. They were actually a little bit bigger than I expected (they are about six inches long - it probably says in the description, but I didn't read it), I only expected them to be 3 or 4 inches. At first, I thought they were maybe too big to fit in a glass, but no worries. They work just fine. And actually I kind of like that they are bigger. You can really see the detail in them. I bought them as a silly stocking stuffer for a friend them for a friend who plays and he loved them. He appreciated that there were three types: Bass, electric, and acoustic (I didn't even notice!) Great product. Very happy with purchase.

Awesome, fun, sturdy ice tray!

These are AEWSOME, fun and sturdy ice trays. Also the picture is a little misleading, as the "cubes," with swirl sticks attached, are about 6 inches long, and the tray is fairly deep, producing a 3/4"-1" thick guitar "cube."

They are so fun looking, and the sticks come in three different colors. The tray is sturdy and doesn't flop around much when you fill it. There are also two very shallow spots shaped like music notes that you can use to make some tiny accent cubes.

Would be fun to add some coloring to these and use them for a party. They are also well-sized for use as popsicles. I can't wait to show these off to my guests!

Great ice cube tray

Except for water, I like all my drinks on the rocks. And I mean, on the rocks. I usually fill my glass with lots of ice then pour the drink - I bought glass stirring rods (yes, the ones used in chemistry labs) as stirrers for when the ice melts and I eventually end up with all the water on top and the denser liquid at the bottom.

I came across this product and this is just genius. It's ice + stirrer in one! Like mentioned by previous reviews, this tray can only generate 3 sticks of ice, but since I'm the only one really using it, it's fine for me. Also note that the ice is pretty large, so I wouldn't think it would fit into glasses with diameters of a champagne goblet. I was skeptical that the sticks won't even stick to the ice long enough, but it did. I am very impressed by this product. I don't really care much for the two little musical note molds on the tray - they were way too shallow and crack apart most of the time.

This Ice Cube tray is very cool and great conversation starter! I bought this for my dad, who plays the guitar and he thought it was the coolest (no pun intended..lol) thing ever! It's just a bit hard to get them out of the ice tray but other than that the product is great! This product is great for musicians, for those who have a bar in their home, those who like unique gifts, and for those that like to entertain!

Purchased item as a gift for 13 yr old nephew who is musically inclined. Very cool, unique item! Shapes are clearly defined, handles are hard plastic (hope they won't break from cold or when trying to remove from trays). Tray is made of soft plastic, should be easy to slightly twist to remove cubes. I may order a tray for myself!

Great for parties

These make a great party favor. They are larger than I expected (perfect for a small mixed drink glass, but large enough for a pint glass as well). They satisfy the need for ice and a stirring stick combined. They are well designed so that the guitar neck stays on the ice throughout it's "life" in the drink. Extremely easy to pop out of the mold once they are ready.
