I really can not give an accurate report as I have a textured shower floor . While basically smooth , there is enough unevenness so that the suction cup 'feet' cannot effect a good seal . So the surface you desire to use them on must be completely smooth .

I tried to and did use it by placing the toe in the corner of the shower and placing one foot behind the heel and kept putting pressure against it to keep it stationary . This procedure was a bit tricky but it did allow me to try the cleansing effect of the bristles . In my opinion the bristles need to be a tad stiffer so that they do a better job of getting between one's toes . I would like to try it on a smooth shower / tub floor , I'm sure that would make it more effective than my experience was .

Before I bought this I bought the less expensive one like as seen on TV...after a while it wore out....I decided to purchase this even though it was double the price, and I must say IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY.,!! There was a tramendous difference in quality...I HIGHLY RECOMMENT THIS...

If you even suspect you have ticklish feet....don't get this. Every time I try to put my foot in this it's like my body involuntarily jumps back. Even dry and without soap. I think if you can steel yourself to that feeling or are absolutely sure you're not the least bit ticklish then this could replace your washcloth. :)

Very happy with my shower sandal! It's sturdy and the bristles are soft but do a good job at cleaning feet, top and bottom. Its like a little car wash for your feet! The Avivo is the better constructed model so beware of the $9.99 knockoffs with the pumice stone that fall apart.

Also, the shipment came on time and was well packed.

This rocks works well although it's a little short in length for me as I have size 13 feet. The brush quality is good, it cleans well, and although not perfect, sticks to the textured shower floor better than others I've tried

I thought this would be a great way to easily scrub my feet in the shower. The first time I used it, I laughed my head off because I had forgotten how seriously ticklish my feet are! I am sure a person with less sensitive feet would give this clever device 5 stars and would perhaps not mind paying what I paid ($30, a couple years ago). I notice this item is now priced at one-third what I paid -- a far better value, IMHO.

I can only sponge bathe, as our shower is upstairs. It's very difficult to properly clean my feet since I cannot reach them very well. My skin gets so dry, also. I received this sandal footscrubber in the mail today, and used it right away. I put a towel on the bathroom floor, and prepared the 'sandal' via the nearby tub faucet, which I can reach easily. It worked so well. I then rinsed it and applied moisturizer to the sandal. That worked wonderfully, also. I could cry, my feet feel so amazing. Thank you!

Cleaned my feet but I got a workout doing it. As many suction cups that are on this thing you'd think it'd take Lou Ferrigno to remove it but while it stays stuck to your tub, it doesn't stay in ONE PLACE.

The bristles were stiff enough without being uncomfortable. But those suction cups... there's an adventure...

Makes washing my feet so much easier! No bending, just pour some liquid soap on it and scrub my feet while standing straight up. It has stayed attached to the tile floor in my shower, seems sturdy.
