Slightly disappointing...by Hamman (3 out of 5 stars)

This thing is not made correctly. It is not level and will not lay flush with the surface of any frying pan. The egg sticks to the edges, even with excessive amounts of cooking spray applied. This item really needs to be upgraded with a silicone edge for easy of use and for basic functionality. If you want a gun-shaped egg for breakfast, you'll have better luck with this after you beat the egg into a whip, add cheese and get the skillet hot enough to cook a base layer of egg on contact. Once the first layer of egg is cooked, add the rest of your egg and cheese mixture and cook on low. For best results, use a frying pan that can be easily covered and let the steam cook your egg. I like eggs for a quick, simple breakfast- This item takes simplicity out of the equation, almost completely. For that reason, it does not get used for eggs very often. However, it does make a fun cookie cutter for me to bake cookies that my gun-loving, cookie-snarfing husband is delighted to eat.
Not for eggs

Works great for cookies but not okay for eggs. It doesn't lay flat so the egg just seeps out.
Perhaps if would work better as a cookie cutter on a fully cooked egg

The idea was neat, but it does not work. I have tried everything I can think of, but the egg always sticks to the mold and tears as I try to remove it. Perhaps if would work better as a cookie cutter on a fully cooked egg.
Great way to have breakfast

Doesn't lay flat on a surface and the eggs just run out of the sides. Otherwise, interesting idea and could work in theory, just not executed well. Tried to bend it back to be flat, but no luck.
Do not buy, cheap product

I tried to use this several times. The egg slips right out of the mold. Might be better as a cookie cutter. The barrel of the gun mold is too long and narrow to move the food around in when finished.
I love this product!

The only thing about this product is finding a truly flat frying pan!!
Most look flat but are slightly curved, I can't wait to make cookies with it!

There useless for eggs. I bought two of them to use for breakfast at my Sportsmans club. The egg ran out under the mold, I tried weights and it still wouldn't lay flat. Wish I didn't get them!!!!!
