This junk wont last a dayby ItGirl (1 out of 5 stars)

We bought two of these. One does not even turn on, and the other turns on and off on its own at random times. The gun feature did not work at all and the warranty is expired before you have a chance to get it out of the box. Don't waste your money on this cheaply made toy.
Excalibur motorized bumper boat

Ordered two. One was received with a defective battery cover. I contacted Excalibur but they do not have spare parts and the unit has to be returned. The unit runs off D batteries that only last a couple of hours. Not recommended.
A recipe for watery disaster.

Hah! Look at the pictures. Happy young men and women, frolicking gaily in a pool of crystalline quality, riding on an amazing, buoyant toy of pure summer fun.
The real thing could not be further from the truth. Sitting the "Bumper boat", one is reminded of a sinking, dying balloon. Anyone over the weight of a 10 year old sags pitifully in the water, tilting precariously back while frantically leaning forward to reach the controls, giving any person who uses this the appearance of a floundering whale.
Blowing up the Motorized Bumper boat without anything more than an electric motor can be likened to trying to pump all the water out of a lake with an antique Victorian hand pump. Inevitably some poor father will be left on the side lines of a pool, wheezing and puffing to blow up the device while his children wait impatiently.
Once you blow it up, the chance of it working is approximately 1.749 out of 10. The motor is a sad, small affair, about the size of the one that powers your fan. It moves at the glacierial pace of a water beetle, and with much less grace. The "water gun" does nothing at all. Excalibur might have advertised a disposable drink holder to the same effect.
The bumping of the bumper boats has all the destructive effect of a wave caressing the shore. Expect a mild "oof" and a lazy ripple of water. The chance of capsizing while doing nothing at all, however, is very great indeed.
Often times a user of this toy will be seen flailing with arms and legs while contorted forward as if to balance the craft, as the the bumper boat slowly tips over with all the drama of the HMS Titanic, depositing it's load in the water to the riotous sound of guffaws.
In the ocean, the tides would keep this firmly on shore. And it's just as well.
Everyone from the loggerhead turtle to the Balinese shrimp will be laughing at you. Not cool.
Not cool.
big waist of money

The biggest waist of money ever...
One of the motors fell apart on the second day that we had them.
Not made for anyone over 5 years old. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but not very powerful.
Batteries wore down in no time. Don`t waist your money on this product.
Excalibur bumper chair
by James Cook (3 out of 5 stars)
July 22, 2010
The first chair arrived with a non-functioning motor (this is a consistent problem with current Excalibur products; the company has gone out of business and sold their inventory to outside vendors which is why the price has gone way down). The vendor replaced it immediately and the new chair works fine- it's a fun kid's toy but for anyone over 125 lbs, it doesn't work very well.
motorized bumper boat

I bought 2 of these bumper boats this summer for my boys (8 and 6 years) to use in our new swimming pool. The water cannon was the fun part! The boats don't really go that well, I think you could get there faster if you paddled with your hands. About 1 week of owning this boat, the steering wheel assembly broke on one of the boats and then a few days later, the other boat's steering wheel broke in the exact same place! I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could get a replacement steering wheel assembly and they said that they only deal with distributers. A waste of $200+
