absolutely loved this product

Have to say I absolutely loved this product. I hooked it up to the compressor, plugged it in, then proceeded to cover the house. I have people slow down as they drive by to look. In my opinion it looks 100% more realistic then the other fake webs. It has a random effect unlike stretched cotton.

I will say for a draw back you will go though the included glue sticks in NO time. I ordered a box of the longer sticks and it makes it easier to use. Just make sure you don't order the mini sticks by mistake.

To use I set my compressor at 95psi and turned the gun to about 30% (PSI adjustment on handle). The trick is in how fast you squeeze the trigger, it takes practice. FYI the game has to be held upright or the glue either pools or drips and misses the airstream.

Move over spidey, there's a new spider women in town!

Just call me Black Widow cause I'm spinning webs like an arachnid.

Got the gun yesterday, went out and spun my webs and they look great! I thought this thing was way easy to use. I really had no problems. So here is my experiences so far and I will update once I get a little more time on the gun.
1. I had to go and buy a compressor for home depot. I bought a 50 dollar one gallon compressor with the following spec.

Air Delivery SCFM @ 40PSI 0.5

Maximum Pressure (psi) 110

Air Delivery SCFM @ 90PSI 0.4
2. The compressor handled the gun but I had to keep stopping to let the tank refill. But keep in mind I ran the gun a full pressure so I know I was draining the tank pretty fast.
3. As I said I ran the gun full pressure. It worked best at this setting with at least 80 PSI on the Gauge. When the Gauge dropped below 50 I would stop and let the tank refill.
4. At 90 PSI I could shoot webs across the yard about 10 to 12 feet and when they landed and stuck they looked great --Like real thin cobwebs (you know, like the kind that when you walk into them they transform you into Bruce Lee from Enter The Dragon ). These kind of webs would be very creepy to walk through.
5. It took a while to build the webs but it was fun.
6. I plan on experimenting with lower set PSI to see if the compressor will last longer and what the quality of the webs will be. I'll keep you posting on results.
7. I used regular glue sticks but the extra long ones. They are very cheap at harbor freight or possible here on Amazon (I have not check that)
8. I have mixed a pack of Rit dye Whitener & Brightener Laundry (bought from Amazon) with water and am spraying the webs. This should make them glow under black-lite. I'll keep you posted on results.

Take it slow. Buy extra glue.

Easy enough to use. Takes a little while to get the hang of it. Make sure you have a long air hose and extension cord. You will need both the whole time it's in use. Experiment with it. Play with it. Get a easier and you do better after a while. Take it slow. Uses A LOT of glue sticks quickly. Can be hard to remove from wood and fabric depending on amount. Remember the glue comes out hot but will cool, dry and harden quickly. Pic is of a plastic skeleton with a black light shining on him to see what you can see at night. Without the black light it is very hard to see at all at night.

Kinda hard expensive way to get substandard webs

This gun works but only ok. Expensive to operate and results are only ok. Remember remember buy the standard larger glue sticks. Amazon paired some glue sticks that glow and the price was good. Those "mini" sticks are all wrong. Too small in all aspects length and diameter. It takes alot of glue to get simple results. If still interested in getting this gun be very careful when squeezing the trigger too hard. If you don't have good trigger squeeze to: air pressure out the hot as heck glue glob will follow the rules of gravity and your hand will pay the price. Personally I'm all in and went to HD and bought a box of long properly sized sticks in bulk. I am considering dumping this idea for next year's haunt. I'm in it over $50 for just webs. Pretty "rich" for webs and my situation!

Be prepared to use a lot of glue

Not quite what we were expecting... Uses a lot of glue to do a small area and make it look good, but once it is filled in it looks great. It was a little difficult to get off the house paint but with a little elbow grease, a pressure washer and a stiff bristle scrub brush it did come off without damaging the paint. We did a lot outside and this year the two weeks leading up to Halloween were especially windy and it helped up great. Be sure to use some fishing line to make a frame prior to spraying.

Love it!

Buy lots of glue sticks (preferably the long ones) you will need them. I think the webs turned out amazing and very realistic. We had tons of compliments at our party. I never used it, but hubby got the hang of it and went to town. Just beware it's a pain to clean up, but I think it was worth it.

Will be better with more time and innovation

It does make realistic webs, however, it takes A LOT of glue and a good amount of time to build them up to be visible. It's not very comfortable or easy to use and it does not come off of rough surfaces with ease. We still have quite a bit stuck to our siding. Would not recommend for indoors if you care about your walls, floors and furniture!

dont bother

Didn't work. the connection to the air compressor leaked out air and so we could never get the gun to the ideal pressure point for best usage. It comes out very, very thin and to get good coverage would have taken a TON! of the sticks to create a finished look. Definitely not a time saver. We returned it.

I really was disappointed in this item I was expecting it to do ...

Need to make sure your air supply runs continuously or it really doesn't come out, however even that didn't really help. Took me 39 mins to just get part of a doorway corner done. The glue that came with it clumps as it comes out. I really was disappointed in this item I was expecting it to do a much better job than it did. It was easier to decorate with the fake web you get in the bag

Makes awesome webs with realistic texture and appearance
by michael david strader (4 out of 5 stars)

Makes awesome webs with realistic texture and appearance. Make sure you got enough air though.. it requires alot of air flow to get optimal web application for realizm. Also works best in corners... and be cautious when you apply to interior walls, it is glue your slinging around and it will take the paint off if your not very careful. Works even better when used with something to suspend it from like thiin fishing line to create large??
