Wham-O Artic Force SnowBall Blaster

Product comes with snowball mold on top... take your snowball out of the mold, insert it into the ice cream scoop looking thing inside the gun, and grab the other end of the scoop and pull back and let go to launch the snowball.

In proper hands, with enough strength(you are pulling back surgical tubing), the snowball will go 30 or so yards. If the snow isn't the right type, when you release the snowball it may break apart. Think of this gun as more of a catapult than gun....there is no precision aiming. Lastly, I have a 7 and 10 year old....neither one can pull it back far enough to launch it more than 10 or 15 yards. Also, as I said it is like a catapult, so you have to raise the front of the blaster up to get maximum distance and to keep the snowball on its holder.

The children loved it as did the adults.

It is like a gun that throws snow balls and a way to having for when not slinging. Exactly like seller described.

Disappointed

My kids found it very hard to pull the sling back. We held on to it, but no one has really used it. They stick with good old fashion throwing. Very disappointed.

Fun for the kids

It's decent but nothing to get excited about. The slingshot contraption inside the blaster is really rather powerless and so the snowball never flies out of there with any oomph. There's got to be something better out there than this....

Met my expectations

It's essentially a fancy, plastic slingshot for snow balls.

It works OK. You can shoot a snowball about 25-30 feet with reasonable accuracy, after some practice.

Don't pull back on it too hard, the rubber band won't last long if you do.

The snowball maker is a bit frustrating. It's difficult to get the snowballs out of it.

What I thought.

Inexpensive, good idea, probably works best with wet snow, seems to discintigrate the snow ball on launch. Seem should make a little larger snowball in top.

I am 9, and I wanted this very badly. It is fun, and I'm glad I own it, but it doesn't shoot very far.

I purchased this product as a gift for my son. When we first got the order my son was very happy until he noticed that the inflatable shield has a hole covered by a piece of tape. It was really offensive to receive a new product in that kind of condition.
