Product Description
Make Monopoly Cheaters Edition board game a favorite go-to game for game nights and other fun get-togethers. Lean into those iconic (yet unspoken) Monopoly moments in which rules are bent, money is borrowed, and funny business is welcomed. Fake a die roll, steal some bills from the bank, and even skip out on rent. Complete a cheat to get a reward, but fail a cheat and pay the consequences! No houses in this edition -- only hotels. The pretend handcuff unit that may leave players "chained" to the board is a really fun addition to the game. The Hasbro Gaming, Parker Brothers, and Monopoly names and logos, the distinctive design of the gameboard, the four corner squares, the Mr. Monopoly name and character, as well as each of the distinctive elements of the board and playing pieces are trademarks of Hasbro for its property trading game and game equipment.

Don't play it with people you loveby Scott J Konowal (2 out of 5 stars)

This game is a stinker. Not much fun at all. And I don't mean "not fun" as in "playing regular monopoly with crappy house rules that make the game last 2 days". I mean not fun as "traumatic stress" and "betrayal of trust" not fun. Trying to keep an eye on your opponents, keeping track of what cheats are in play and trying to do the cheats yourself. There were bruised egos by the end of the game. I feel betrayed by my wife and I don't think my wife looks at me the same way. I felt weird trying to teach our 7 year old how to cheat successfully when he had a hard time understanding how to pull off the cheats stealthily. I'm not sure this gameplay is appropriate for anybody under 16 and certainly not amongst those you love.
I will keep this game, because in 10 years it will rank up there with lawn darts, the Atari 2600 "E.T." video game, toy guns without the orange tip and candy cigarettes.
Cheaters do win

My family, like most, could never manage to get through game night without someone being accused of cheating, especially playing monopoly. This game solves that problem because cheating is not only allowed but encouraged. I love that if you falsely accuse someone of cheating and they can prove that they didn't you have to pay them money. Stops people from accusing everyone of cheating for no reason. This game is so much fun and my favorite part is that it's not as long as traditional monopoly. 1 game of the traditional would last at least 3 hrs and we'd all grow bored. This game doesn't have that problem because the game ends when all the properties have been bought and all tokens make it back to go. The cheat cards obviously encourage you to cheat but so do the community chest and chance cards. The handcuff is the perfect addition to this game and it adjusts to fit all the wrists sizes we have here. Bottom line whoever said "cheaters never win," was so wrong. Get this game and cheat to your hearts content, you'll have so much fun.
I'll stick with cheating the old fashion way

This game is fun if you havnt really played some of the other versions. After opening and reading everything it became apparent that it makes things a bit too complicated. You are limited to the 5 cheating actions listed on the cards. We found it difficult to only do those cheating actions. Personally I'll stick with cheating the old fashion way... snatching money from the bank when no one is looking. If you are looking for a fun and quick monopoly go with Monopoly Empire.
Really fun game... Just, don't play the "ultimate cheater's version"

Bought this game for my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves monopoly.. I hate it. Haha You can lose friendships with that game. However, when I saw THIS game come out, I was like okay. Gotta try that at least. And I LOVE it. So much fun going through and trying to cheat. I mean, in the past I always cheated at regular Monopoly so I didn't break up with my boyfriend over the game. Haha But, this way everyone knows and you have to hide that you're cheating. BUT. We tried the "ultimate cheater's edition" which is just where everyone cheats- more cheats than just the cards in the game. That was no fun. Lol Everyone ended up being mad at each other and we all had to take a break from game night. Hahaha
Best Monopoly game yet!

When my kids first asked for this game I was a little concerned about the message it might send, but after buying it and playing it all my qualms are gone. We had SO much fun playing this! The laughs were endless and the way it's setup it doesn't take hours to get through like a standard Monopoly game. Definitely a must have for family game night.
DO NOT BUY, WASTE OF LIFE

This is honestly the worst game I've ever played in my life. I didn't think it was possible to make Monopoly worse yet Cheater's Edition has proved me wrong! This game doesn't promote communication, the cheating cards aren't fun to do, and by the end of a game we all gave up on life. I think getting whooped in the ass with a stick with thorns sticking out would've been more memorable than this game. Sometimes when I'm happy I think about this game and my depression returns. 0/5.
Beware of Family Fueds

My family loves Monopoly - like really loves it. Games get heated. There have been accusations of cheating for years, so when Hasbro introduced this game we had to have it. This really delivered. Its a super fun twist on Monopoly, playing into everyone's already deepest urges when it comes to Monopoly justice. Its also an accelerated version of the game, so it keeps things interesting, just as tense but in a more reasonable amount of time :)
Frustrating to younger players

Overall, the game is well constructed as anyone would expect from Hasbro. Frequent game play would likely take its toll on the game pieces, but for the weekend game enthusiast this would be perfect. It would rate a solid 4 stars. As far as replay, this game would become very difficult very quickly as your opponents would quite quickly learn your tactics in executing the cheats. Therefore, replay could become very slow and unstimulating if the cheats become nearly impossible to attempt or perform. That being stated switching up players would be a definite boost to the game's replay. I would rate at a 3. The game is rated for 8 and up although I have had at least 10 children try this game out and the age 8 - 12 struggle with keeping track of the cheats in play or performing the cheats when faced off by older opponents. They can become very frustrated quickly in this age group. For this I give the game a 1 star rating in age determination. Teenagers and up for sure. The classic version tends to lend a learning edge that this game has lost in using addition, subtraction and social skills. The classic version also tends to level the playing field much better for younger players. The cheats have a levels of difficulty, some are quite challenging and others not as challenging but still give for an interesting game night. This game does cut on the socialization as you must be very watchful of the other players. Even snacks can be distracting. Bought this for our 12 year old for his birthday. Upon opening it he was super excited. After playing it, he is still interested in it, but states he prefers the classic Monopoly version, Monopoly deal (that game is a sensation, solid 5 star material), or Risk. Hope this helps in your purchasing.

Arrived in perfect condition and was a blast to play. Even if one of the kids rage quits. It's okay to beat your kids at a board game. I swear, they will live through it and eventually kick your *** at the game.
