Product Description
It's a sad, but true, fact that many young boys will one day experiment with facial hair. Regrettably, some will even allow the hair on their upper lip to grow wild and long into what is called a "mustache." For these boys, special consideration should be given to the grooming of the mustache so as not to let it become bushy and unkempt. Each of these 4" (10.2 cm) long (when open), metal and plastic combs snap open with the push of a button and if used regularly can turn an adolescent mustache into something almost tolerable.Features
- 4" long when open
- Helps turn an adolescent mustache into something almost tolerable
- Also works on goatees and sideburns

not disappointed, but less than impressed.by sonofabischke (3 out of 5 stars)

It is precisely what it looks like, a novelty switchblade moustache comb. The comb part is less functional due to the comparatively bulky handle with slightly hit-and-miss mechanics on the internal "switchblade" mechanism. If you are able to sport a sweet 'stache in high school and want to look cool/tough while tending to your facial manscaping, then you may well dig this device. If you're someone who just want to maintain your whiskers there are much better products out there.

What this is, is clever. I bought it as much for the art work on the card it comes on as for the product and am not disappointed in either. One reminds me of my youth when I'm surprised my head didn't tilt due to grease and the other says, "Wow, you've just grown a moustache!!" Which I have. Well, every 72 years why not? This "toy" actually works and whether it will for the long haul? but for now I carry it in my pocket and feel "cool" when I comb my 'stache with my switch comb. For any man who has any facial hair this is a great gift and, at the price, order several just to have "in case" you need an emergency gift for a hirsute guy.

This is a really fun gift idea. If you need a gag gift for a man in your life, or just have a man in your life who likes to take extra care of his facial hair this is a nice gift. I purchased it as a stocking stuffer for my husband last Christmas and thought it was a neat gift. In the process of moving we misplaced it and my kids found it and have been playing with it now. So it can be dual purpose!
For the man of discerning taste...

You probably don't own one, but you should. My husband has recently finished cultivating a full on mountain man beard. Yeah, he thinks it's awesome. I gave him the comb of cool for Christmas. He still uses it. I think it makes him feel like his facial hair has substance because it now has accessories. It is a great little gift for the follicly blessed.

Bought this for my husband. He had a switch blade comb that he adored as a little boy. Being as that he's often times charmingly boyish I thought he might like this for his beard and stash. Works great for the stash, and okay for the beard. None the less it's hilarious when he whips it out of his pocket and starts taming his mustache! This actually is a decent quality.
Good for fun, but not to be used too much.

I bought this for my dad on his birthday, not really expecting him to use it much because it wouldn't work too well on short Scandinavian mustaches. But I got it anyway. He ended up opening the package and liked what he saw. It kinda jiggles around a bit because of cheap construction and is not meant for working out knots in your hair.the comb is metal with a metal support piece behind it. But he occasionally uses it to get his hair put down really quick before he goes to work in the morning.
Cute, but ...

I find that the comb often opens in my pocket. I suppose it is the result of some inadvertent pressure on the "switchblade" button. In addition, the handle is pretty fat. Usually I choose to carry a regular Ace hard rubber pocket comb instead. Novelty value is high, but for practical purposes if offers nothing that the lighter and more compact pocket comb doesn't do as well.
Ok gag

Pulls hairs. Yes, I know it is a gag comb, but for those with an actual manly beard/mustache over 1/2 inch, beware. The brad that the comb pivots on will yank out hairs. If you have a month old beard, you should be good, but any beard beyond 1/2 inch the gag will backfire. It's cheap, so still a fun gag, but just beware...it hurts.
While its a great novelty/gag gift it isn't very practical nor sturdy

This is a lot smaller than in the picture/what I expected. While its a great novelty/gag gift it isn't very practical nor sturdy. The expanded (opened) comb is only about an inch long total. The butt end of it looks like it has a hole to attach to a key ring. Mine only lasted about a month before the comb fell off of the hilt.
Yes you need this.

If you are going to have a silly mustache comb, why not have the silliest mustache comb? Also good for intimidating those who question the grooming of your facial hair.
