This is really a cute eraser, which is the only reason I bought it - I use solely the back side to keep the front looking nice. It does the job, but it leaves a lot of eraser debris.. typical. Doesn't harm the paper. I might need to buy a little eraser vacuum now.. lol. But it's too cute to pass up.

Not as good as a kneadable eraser for sketching and watercolor because it's messy and leaves pieces of eraser on your paper.
