NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!

Not as advertised. I wish I would have read some of the other reviews. This product is a venus fly trap of questionable size and conditions unlike the photo displayed. Mine arrived in a plain cardboard box with masking tape holding the plant and potting material inside the pot and wrapped in a plastic bag with lots of room to move inside the box and no other packing material. Only one of six stocks was alive, the others were black and dormant. I will attempt to save the plant, but I am not hopeful.
Have't killed it yet

We've had this little plant for about 2 months now and it trucks along. It is relatively low maintenance. We just have to add water to it every now and then. It needs to sit in about 1" of water and stay virtually swampy, but that's it. He sits in the window sill and catches unlucky flies that happen his way. The plant is constantly dying on one head and producing another one. (That seems like a healthy plant to me). I have 8,6 and 4 year old boys and they love to watch him catch things. Every now and then we'll kill a fly with a fly swatter and hand feed the plant. :)

Very disappointed
One of my Venus flytraps died before arrival and the other is dying because all mouths were closed.
This was supposed to be a gift for my dad on Fathers Day, now I've got to go spend more money to get him a new one.
Fairly easy to take care

Plant was smaller than expected. It was alive and well, no sign of imminent death. Although, the package was clear. I expected it to have some words or design on it since it is expected to be a gift. Fairly easy to take care. I have ordered 3 more to go alone with this one in hopes of adding to its size.
Dead on Arrival

I received it dead. It might be my fault for not checking my mail earlier, but when I picked in up from the post office, 2/3 of the traps were completely dead and one appears to be withered. I think that this plant is dead, but I at least have the pot and soil for some seeds.

After receipt of the fly trap, one stem had a black fungus growth. After removal and care, as directed, the whole plant was overgrown with this black plant eater. Request either full refund or new healthy plant
They should NEVER be upside down with all the traps closed around soil with the roots exposed.

I researched this product care, prior to ordering. The venus fly trap is an endangered species due to illegal harvesting. The product arrived in the mail upside down in the pot and the leaves of the trap were closed up on the soil, inside a loose plastic packageThe plant was brown and black and near death. It was in putting soil. The pictures of the product showed the plant right side up in a clear box. Its dead
Fake - received plain soil in a pot

Received a pot of empty soil. No plant. It just arrived today so it wasn't sitting outside unopened. Arrived in foam popcorn and a plain plastic bag instead if the instruction box in the image. It should have been full of moss not soil so I was scammed.
