So so disapointedby Amazon Customer (1 out of 5 stars)

I bought this item used (yes I understand that it was going to have some wear and tear) it was labeled at "Like New" and it was no were near "like new". Both the joysticks where broken and did not work (Couldn't move or anything with it). The center button was missing it's sticker and also did not work (it kept sticking). The wire had a short somewhere so it kept disconnecting and powering off. All in all I was very upset. I've been looking for a blue Afterglow controller in stores new for a long time and have been unable to find one near me so I thought buying online was my best option and after this "like new" controller I don't believe I'll ever be able to find one.
it's not too bad, it lasted for about four years

Uh, it's okay, it's not too bad, it lasted for about four years, I feel like they make these controllers to not last that long, I heard a lot of people that had problems with this controller, I have PS4 controllers that lasted way longer.
Anyway, it kept disconnecting, and I've tried everything, it's pretty and all, I hope they make it last a bit longer. I may think about getting another one, but I am not sure if I want to recommend this to anyone that's looking for a controller that lasts really long, but I guess four years isn't bad. I know nothing lasts forever, but I was a bit upset when my controller wasn't working, but I don't regret buying it. ;; The one I got was brand new and it worked really well, unlike the controllers people got, that really sucks. ;; I hope they at least got a new one or their money back.
Anyway, if you are looking for something a bit more cheaper I recommend this one, but you get what you pay for. I mostly played this on my PC, but I did play it a couple of times on an xbox. Overall, it's pretty good. I guess it depends on whether they give you a faulty controller or not, I got lucky, and sometimes I don't. So it depends on them, and sometimes I feel like it's the people's fault that pack these controllers up and send it to us.
I hope anyone who buys this gets a good one that won't break all fast like in two weeks or something.
Looks cool, little harsh on the eyes

My son and I really like these controllers, we got a blue and a green. They glow like crazy and the colors are cool, but if you move it wrong the led lights shine in your eyes. There is a on/off/vibrate setting though, so you can always just switch it off. Having it on vibrate in a game like Halo 3 where it goes off every time you get hit means you may as well leave it on. Cool feature for the kids I suppose.
Controls work great, buttons are easy, grip is comfortable. The cord is a lot longer than I had even hoped, so that's a plus. All in all a great controller for the price, I just wish they had used some tinted plastic to keep the lights from being too bright.
Great Product But need to get used to

Alright as some of you read from other reviews the analog sticks are bad at precision actually they arent really but overall it is but to make it great you can buy grips that make it easier to move the analog stick and also you can get used to the setting and move both sticks unlike other players who use 1 stick to move the direction that way it cancels out the sensitivity speed, if you dont know what im talking about and you dont play fps then you need to read that part. If I got to say how the product is I would recommend for kids, teens who arent dumb and just complain and dont try to figure out how to use, and maybe too adults depending on how they play either way I think its great it just takes getting used to unlike what others say I know that the speed movement of the analog stick is fast but you need to move it slightly soft but if you dont like it than I dont know what to tell you.
Afterglow AX.1 Review

When I received my blue Afterglow AX.1 controller, i was excited about it because the packaging was good and the controller looks excellent. Those are the good things about this controller. Now for the bad.
I compared the controller to the original Xbox 360 and the analog buttons on the Afterglow AX.1 controller aren't as sensitive or precise as the original Xbox 360 Controllers. When i press the buttons, i can hear the plastic squeaking as if it is going to break. When i turn on the LED's, i can feel warmth from the controller. I'm afraid if i play for a long period of time the controller will begin to get hot, so i turn it off, which defeats the purpose of buying this thing. The rumble is very weak. I doesn't have a strong rumble like the original controllers do. If you have the new head sets with the volume control at the tip, do not buy this because it doesn't have three ports that can fit into it. You can't even buy the text pad to go with it because it will not fit. You would need to buy the black head set with the original design. The LED lights are very very bright and tends to get annoying when they flash as the rumble goes off. It starts to hurt your eyes after a while.
On the other hand, it is smaller and fits easy in my hands. The cord has an extension on it so that way it prevents the USB connection to get yanked out if someone were to trip over it. My brother tripped over it the first day i got it and the extension stayed in the Xbox while the plug fell out with no damage. I like that.
I wouldn't buy this controller again, but if you like the lights, then go for it. Just keep in mind that i wrote more cons than pros.
So Far, So Good

I've had the controller for about 2 weeks now and have been using it regularly on my PC to play games on emulators. I've had no issues with it and I'm glad I purchased it.
Quality seems good for the price and I haven't had any issues. There is a loose piece of soder bouncing around inside the case (probably loosened during shipping) but there are no effects on the controller.
The red afterglow looks cool and you can disable if you want. Not as good as an official XBox controller, but I bought this one because it was half the price and does what I need it to do.
A good controller but not excelent

This controller is good, only a few things I can complain.
1st its kinda noisy (personally I don't like that) when pressing the buttons the click quite loud, compared with an official MS Xbox360 controller
2nd sometimes I have to unplug and plug again the controller because it doesn't work, that is quite a bother.
Aside those issues i mentioned i'm pleased with the controller, it's confortable to grip and works exactly like an MS controller, would recomend the buy only if you can overlook the cons I mentioned above.

I tried playing with this after it arrived. I think I gave myself a seizure. The light on the right side of it is at an angle to where, when you're holding it in your lap, it's pointed right at your eyeball. And, being a bit of a gamer, the feel of the controller was way different to me than that of the basic model. The joysticks were a little odd to my hands. I had a hard time sniping with it.
I gave the thing to my neice. I recommeded her putting stickers over where the lights are. I think my pupils are contracting in defense just thinking about the thing...
Great.

I purchased two of these for my son and they work well and these were reasonable. Also, theses guys had both the blue and red and we could not find these colors in store.
Afterglow Controller for Xbox 360 - Blue
by ApplepieJr (4 out of 5 stars)

I love the color blue! I was skeptical of the cord length at first but when it came in and i tried it out it was more than enough. It is about as long as a XBOX wired controller (or a little longer than a N64 Controller.) As your playing: 1. the On option is not distracting 2. the vibrate option is distraction when the story mode is playing 3. the off option ... -_- why would u buy this for the off option. It is very comfortable and the joysticks are durable. There are two blinding spots on the controller that seem to be a desine flaw. The LEDs on the bottom of the right and left sides reflect off the inner plastic making a super bright light in one (two) directions. It is noticeable on the wall behind you but not as you playing so your safe there.
I personally use this controller more than the wireless one and i leave the lights on the On option.
