Boooo. It says water resistant. It says it will withstand water getting on the circuits and still work. It shows water splashing the strip on the package. It rained and a little water got on it, the thing burned out my power cord. decidedly NOT worth the $50 as it is NOT as advertised.

I'm building a large fish tank and I bought two of these before I needed it. Should have know better! Now that it's past the time to return it, I find out it does not work! The reset button resets nothing. No power comes through the unit. Don't waste your money.

I have 2 tanks now, one 60 gallon and one 56 gallon, and this works so well with the 60 gallon that I bought a second for the new 56. One caution.... My heater cords are a tight fit for whatever reason no matter which socket you use. I have the same Aqueon Pro 200W heater for both tanks and its plug is a struggle to put in any power strip. Don't blame the power strip but you'll need to put some umph into that plug.

Right large prong plug ins do not work. Only prongs of same size. Its been said that UL has ussued a warning about this product not being safe? Wow...wish i would of read comments first. I did report this to amazon customer service. I mounted it on the wall away from sing & shower. Only steam will touch it. Outside package is very misleading. I did state that as well. Thank you for your honest reviews -to the UL commenter.

I purchased this for my turtle tank. It's a bit pricey, but the safety of my turtle and myself/other pets/house is worth it. It works well and the plugs fit snugly and secure into this strip.

The cord is plenty long but it's really hard to plug things into the strip. Not worth the time to fight with it.
