Works Great and amazing Gift.by Albert Rantz (5 out of 5 stars)

Oh me and my best friend are pretty big movie nerds, and of course Star Wars is a common interest. Needless to say in many late night drinking sessions we have woken up very hungover many times. Perhaps the most eye opening experience of his in the last 10 years was me showing him the importance of getting Pho' fresh on a hangover!
Pho can make you sick to you're stomach, to asking for seconds in no time!
So naturally after I introduced him to Pho' it has become a staple in his dietary regimen. Once I saw these, I knew I had to get them for him for his birthday... I mean both practical, hilarious, and flat out awesome!
The actual detail on the chopsticks ARE very accurate to SKywalker and Darth Maul lightsabers. I think a Skywalker and Darth Vader combo, would have been perfect, but oh well!
They work fine! no problem with slipping, they are easy to clean, and a very nice size, even a little longer than normal.
LOVE IT!
Can't stop playing with them.

I actually got these to eat sushi, not just as a toy (I'm 29 after all) but I can't stop playing with them, they are just so cool. If only I had these when I was a kid...
I get sushi sometimes for lunch from the grocery store close to my office and I always forget to grab disposable sticks. These are prefect to keep in my desk just in case.
One negative note though, the magnets in Darth Mauls set are very strong and make use as actual chop sticks difficult, esp. for someone who isn't very good with them like me. I saw another review that said the caps on the bottom that hold the magnets in come off easily. I gave them a good yank and they stayed on, so maybe he just received a defective pair. At any rate I'm sure a drop of model cement or super glue would put them back on permanently.
Great Novelty

These are a blast to play with a meal time. You are never too old to play with your food. The only downfall is that they are a little hard to hold. I have been using chopsticks my whole like and did start to get frustrated with these halfway through the meal. But that won't stop me from eating/playing with them on a regular basis. I think that I ended up having more fun with them than my husband did, and they were his birthday present.
Very cool

These were one of those "wow" gifts that had everyone talking. It is a shame that they dont have tiny LEDs in them to make them light up but they are a great gift for any Star Wars fan.
As far as being practical, I think they are, but not as much as an "actual" chopstick. The weight of the saber hilt on the back of the stick can make balancing them a little tricky, and the slick material can make grabbing somewhat difficult, but we have used them for sushi on more than one occasion. If worse comes to worse then the magnets in the Maul sabers can always be used as a cute fridge magnet. ;)
Awesome product, shipping?? Not so much.

My boyfriend and I always buy each other Star Wars related items, and since his favorite food is sushi I figured these would be awesome!
I was right, they are awesome. We haven't used them quite yet, but I can tell by holding them that they are a little harder to use than regular chopsticks. I think its worth it though :) I just wish they would light up.
However, when I received the package the plastic the chopsticks come in had already been ripped apart as if someone had already used them. It annoyed me considering how much these cost but I figured I could just triple wash them before using. It's better than the hassle of returning. Other than this packaging mishap, everything was great!
***Less than 30 minutes after posting this review, I received an email from the company explaining the packaging situation. He explained that the glue holding the packaging together didn't hold up. They taped it back together to keep the pieces together.***
Cute, but better for Hairsticks

These are great gifts. They make wonderful décor or mini weapons for impromptu dinner table duels, but the "blades" are too smooth to get a good grip on rice or noodles (though they work on veggie and meat stir fry okay). They do, however, make amazing hair sticks: take a boring librarian bun and turn it into a raging Jedi master bun (or Sith lord, however you roll). The Darth Maul sticks are magnetic, so we stick them to the fridge for storage.
Would I buy these again? Heck yes! I love them. But I will stick to my cheap bamboo chopsticks for actual eating.

I bought these for my nerd bf for Christmas...i thought they were really funny when i saw them so i figured id splurge on a silly novelty item fully intending them to brake easily... well we used them a few times since Christmas and they haven't broke yet, and my bf loves them;apparently the red ones have magnets on the bases so they can stick together similar to the characters light sabers in the movie ( he insisted he use the red ones) he really loved them and they are really funny...I would definitely recommend these to anyone who loves novelty star wars stuff ALTHOUGH!!!! i would not but them at new-bury comics because they were 27 DOLLARS!!
COOLEST PAIR OF CHOPSTICKS I OWN!

Darth Maul is my favorite Sith Lord... so I HAD to get these chopsticks. The magnets get annoying sometimes when I use my Darth Maul pair -- they stick together and it's sometimes awkward to eat with them. But I don't care. They're still really cool looking. As a Star Wars nerd, they're my favorite pair of chopsticks. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world!
LOL awesome

I used these every day for a few weeks, just because they were "new" and "cool" at the time. I did read somewhere that someone had problems with the magnets on the red ones falling off, but I had no issues. The detail on the hilt is very good, I found myself googling images of the "actual" lightsabers to compare them... yes, I geek out like that, and don't lie, you do too if you are considering buying these.
They're great, and they come with little glass pieces to set them on while you're eating.
Updated: Changed from four to five stars. I've used these regularly for three years and they show very few signs of wear. Couple of scratches on the clear plastic, probably from when one of them partially fell through the silverware basket in the dishwasher and got banged up by the spinner at the bottom (instructions say to hand-wash, that's good advice).
Awesome

Very intricate detailing. Definitely got a "whoa" and or a chuckle from a lot of people. The Maul chopsticks are just awesome. They magnetically link up at the base of the hilts to create his double saber! I have to agree with other reviewers that they can be a little slick for eating. However, if you are used to using plastic or ceramic chopsticks then they shouldn't pose a problem. Only downside is that they're handwash only.
