Product Description

Plush terry cloth applicator is gentle to skin and dispenses evenly. Works easily, even in the presence of suntan lotion, perspiration and any moisture. Directions for use: Pat the terry cloth to promote powder flow. Rub sanding parts of the body. For best results, air dry and then store product in enclosed plastic bag between uses. When all of the powder has been used, the mitt is disposable or, better yet, re-use it. It works great to wash cars or other household items.

This handy little mitt was the perfect solution for snack time at the beach during my recent family vacation. When my nieces and nephews were ready for a snack, this mitt cleaned hands and arms quickly and minimized the whining that usually occurs when the kiddos are tired, hungry and trying to eat Cheetos with sandy fingers. My friends used theirs recently at a music festival on the beach and were equally pleased with the mitt. My mitt made it through 5 beach days with 5 kids and 4 adults and it still has plenty of life left in it. Yes, one could probably rig their own homemade version of this, but I like the no fuss/no muss aspect of this mitt and definitely recommend.

Sand-off Powder-infused Mitt....

I gave this and the Parasheet to my son and daughter-in-law for Father's/Mother's Day, and they were thrilled. They are beach buddies and will be taking their daughter to the beach as soon as she is old enough - or even before. They were really excited with the principle of the mitt to wipe sand off their daughter..... I expect it will get a lot of use and need to be replaced...... many of their friends - also beach buddies - are having babies too, and I expect word will get out....... wonderful product and one that can be used for presents all year around in warm climates.

I've been going to the beach all of my life and this has been the best beach product I have ever experienced!!!! I'm shocked that this is more popular. We constantly get people asking what it is when we use it right after coming off the beach. Especially with two kids this product is amazing. I've yet to find a product that can get sand off of you as well as this does. Awesome product!

Great for Busy Moms!

I get the whole "just put some baby powder in a mitt instead of paying for this" but here's the thing: I barely have time to brush my teeth, much less make a DIY powder mitt for the beach. For busy moms that just want clean hands to eat beach snacks, this was great! We took our 17 month old to the beach last week and when it was snack time, the Sand Off Mitt came out and in 5 seconds, he had clean hands and face! It was a lifesaver for a fussy toddler and to be honest, I may have used it more than he did! We passed it around before we walked into the house so that the adults didn't track sand onto the floors. The powder is brushed off much easier than sand and after using it for a week, it's still full of powder and tucked away for next year's beach trip. This is a must for parents with young children (or fussy grownups who don't like sand!)

After reading reviews I went ahead an bought this mitt for our trip to the beach. First of all, it works really wonderfully - and I didn't experience too much of the "extra powder" everywhere that other reviewers mentioned. Yes, there was a little bit, but nothing annoying or excessive.

Other reviewers mentioned that you can use talcum powder and a glove or towel - which is probably true, but we're lazy and I'm glad this product is available!

I have been going to the Outer Banks for years. You drive your car on the beach and park there for the day. At the end of the day you are covered with sand. We used to use a brush to get all the sand off but that hurts your feet. Found this item and decided to give it a try. It worked really well. Got all the sand off, both wet sand and dry sand. Has a soft feel so you don't hurt your feet while using it. Easy to wipe the kids feet off. I was very happy with this purchase.

I think this works, yet I can just buy a container of talc and use a washcloth from home to apply and save the money. It gave me the idea; I'll give them that much.

Worked like a charm on the five little ones during our family beach vacation last summer. They learned very quickly to come to one of us for sand removal and it didn't break them out or hurt their eyes. Great product!

This thing is awesome! No matter how sticky your sand is, this mitt will get it off. Fantastic when your kids like to sit in the waves and get sand in all the places that would hurt with just a towel.

Great product! I used this a lot when my daughter was 16-20 months at beach. She was wearing diaper then and it helped taking the sand off all over her body including when we are changing diapers. This is a must have for baby.
