don't waist your money on this thing. It never worked right. I've had this thing for years and every-so-often we bust it out and think, maybe this time it will work. Nope. It just sits in our cupboard gathering dust.

Seemed like a fun idea...I just had to try it.

I was not disappointed. It was fun. My "helpers" were my 5-year-old and 2-year-old sons and they had a really great time baking with Mom. That was the important part.

As for taste, don't use the recipe that comes with the instructions. Very bland. They were also very cake-like no matter if they were left in for one or three minutes. I'd prefer something more crunchy so now the search for the best recipe begins...

Finally, kudos to amazon as the first one that was sent to me (in better packaging) arrived damaged. They had a replacement here the next day and myself and my boys were not disappointed while waiting for packages to be exchanged. Thank you!!

I bought this for my college age daughter.

She loves it and makes ice cream sandwiched with friends.

She is experimenting with low sugar recipes.

When my grandkids visit they love to get in the kitchen and cook. This Ice Crean Sandwich maker is great. They enjoyed making them and thinking of different thing to put on them. The recipes were great and easy to follow.
