Good deal for the priceby Frambak (5 out of 5 stars)

Good little milti use shovel for the price. I plan on putting it in my car emergency bag. It should work great for that. It is small and light enough to pack if you need to. Will work good for trenching around a tent. It comes with a few survival things in the handle but I plan on adding my own things to that. I added a few pick for size comparisons
Great tool, very durable.

This product is awesome, it is a great size and works well. All the different features make it a very cool tool to have. It works well and has so far been durable. The carrying pouch is nice and can be easily attached to a belt or backpack. I would recommend to any camper, it is a must have. Plus it comes with a few goodies in the handle.
For that purpose I think it's fine. Just don't expect to dig any large holes ...

It's a bit small, but I bought it to keep in my car for those times I might need a light-duty shovel. For that purpose I think it's fine. Just don't expect to dig any large holes with it.
Solid little shovel.

Was not expecting a great item at the price so I was not disapointed, however, this is flimsier that expected for the price. Would take a couple of days to dig a fox hole big enough to hide in. If you want to clean up your dogs poop its OK.
Useful and tactical

My father-in-law loved his gift and even more when he opened the top of the shovel to find a bunch more stuff that he could use.

Have one of these. The kit inside the hilt is junk. Replace with some of your own stuff. I used this as an addition to a 3-day emergency kit in my car. Don't underestimate the presence of a shovel tool in your car kit. Every get stuck in snow or mud??? Has some nice features for the price. Compact, around 14" total length. Include this with a REAL survival kit that YOU construct yourself (not the junk pre-made kits that are so popular nowadays, so expect to spend around $250 or so on a complete setup -- do you really want to trust a survival/emergency situation on stuff that someone ELSE thinks you need?), a small outdoor knife, and a hatchet, and you're good. Also, not understanding people who purchase bargain-basement products but expect the best quality??? If something happens to it under hard use, it's cheap enough to replace. Can't please everyone, I guess.
