Shrinkage experiment

Loses a star because they don't really look like the pic. And the zipper printing on the pant is crooked. So after reading all the reviews about shrinking, I decided to do a little experiment. After I received them, I laid them flat on the floor and measured the entire length (see photo) and it was about 42-inches. I washed them by themselves in cold water on gentle cycle, and then dried them on high heat for about 35 minutes with a 10-minute cool down. The result was about 3 inches loss in total length, down to about 38 or 39 inches. That's not a problem here cuz the person wearing them is 5'2" so all is well. They did not lose much in overall width of the pant in the seat. Even with the shrinkage these would still work for someone who is up to 5'8" ... maybe a little more. I guess shrinkage should be expected with a thin, all-cotton product. These are very lightweight, summer jammie pants.

Incerdible pantaloons!

These pants are outstanding! Bought them for my husband, who is an incredibly "stylish" man. They are super comfy, have a drawstring, and look hilarious. They run a little small, however. Glad I read previous reviews and ordered a size up. My hubs is 5'11", 165 lbs and typically wears a medium, but the large fits him perfectly. I'll be buying more of these pants for my brothers, who are equally "stylish."

I'm glad I didn't read any of the negative reviews first, I might have missed out on buying these. Hundred percent cotton is 100% cotton and will shrink, duh. That's why you order a larger size And don't wash and dry them at high temperatures. I have a pair on now that I have already washed. They fit perfectly and I am 6 foot tall. They are light weight which is just what I wanted. They look great. I bought them for early morning Dog walks and they look good enough to fool anybody who isn't actually staring. Now I won't have to get dressed. If I was to only get a few months wear out of them it would be worth it.

Fantastic lounging pants - everyone should have a pair!

This fit great and are super comfy. I am a 5'6" girl who wears about a size 12. I bought the large. When they arrived, I thought - holy crap these are huge and long. Well, once I washed them, they shrunk and now fit perfectly. The waist is a perfect size - doesn't fall down but not too tight. The length is perfect as well. To top it off, they are really soft.

These are the most awesome lounging pants. I love them and would buy them again. Although, I will probably have to wait for them to wear out because they seem to be very well made and should last a while - even though I wear them probably four days a week and wash them just as regularly.

Awesome! Hilarious!

I bought these for my husband and they are everything we hoped they would be! That is, hilarious, comfortable, and surprisingly good-looking. Hilarious because my husband is a tech guy who typically works from home in his PJs, thus the "work pants" joke. Comfortable, because PJs. :) And good-looking because the mellow light blue complements my husband's skin tone surprisingly well. (He's about as pale as you can get without being a redhead, if you're wondering.)

To address some of the issues brought up in other reviews:

They look exactly like the picture. I'm not sure why other people didn't think so. Perhaps they've improved the print over the years.

They do shrink (they're cotton) but not problematically. My husband wears a 34" inseam, which would normally put him in the Big and Tall category; however, he likes to wear his pajamas loose and a bit low on the hips. XL works perfectly for him here, as it does in other brands.

As another reviewer noted, they are lightweight summer pajamas. Given that, however, the quality seems as good as any other pair that we've bought, say, from Target.

We love 'em, and we'll probably buy more in the future.

They fit very well, I feel like a male model strutting around the house. Because they were made to look like acid wash jeans I felt like I should go "full 80s" and work shirtless at a construction site and poor Crystal Pepsi all over my head and chiseled abs!

Let's get some issues resolved right up front. They have an open fly, but with a button in the middle. If you use the button, you are not going to have an issue with peek-a-boo. Also these are not going commando pajamas either. They probably would shrink a lot if you boil them and dry them on high heat. I have to thank other reviewers for the heads up although I bought a size larger just in case. Mine were washed on cold and low heat for the first two washes between trying them on and actually wearing them. They did not shrink in the waist and might have shortened up an inch so now they are a little long. I wear a 32" inseam. Since then, they get thrown in with other colors and washed normally. No further shrinkage. The look, black, is more realistic and pass for actual Jeans. Or my neighbors are just being kind when I go out to get them mail.

"Denim" Pajama Pants

My husband and my dad both got a real kick out of these. They're fantastic! Comfortable, well-made, and look nice. I have to add a word of caution, though, about the sizing. They run small, so order the next size up from your normal, or you'll be stuck washing them in cold and letting them air dry...... if they're not already too tight to begin with.

I like them I got them this evening and I was about to get a bath an I said I have to try them on and then I said keep them on. They not short but can be a litter long I'am 5'11". 160 lbs Then I said the mail man this not bring all my stuff to my door I need to go to the mail box I forgot they didn't have a slipper are bottom but this how I like mind. I will not bye any longer with out and open in from. I thank it just make me so mad..lol. I going to see how my money run because I didn't suppose to purchase no cloths an expect no lounger. But when they on sell I can help myself I wear my all day when home and when I get a shower I put on another pair but late I said my neighbor must think I sick I have not left my house in five day. I thought I bough a pair of these lounger about three year ago I think they was out of them. Yes I will purchase another pair..I just tire of tight lounger when I go to

bed at night they stick to me like I'am a pill case..But I'am happy with my purchase. I can fell free tonight..Because they so thin that you fell naked almost and very soft to my skin they a winner in my book I done care for silk an cotton getting to old and I hate the Flannel an hook on Faux one flannel have you so hot that you just like to get out them. I given two gift box away to a friend in the nurse home. Because they have the shirt came with them in the gift box. Ah Not Impressive

These pants are really thin, like the men's pajama pants you can buy from Walmart -really- cheap. Since I was given the impression from reading the reviews that they run small I bought large and I'm pretty sure they are going to be too big for him, they don't look like they run small to me, maybe they'll shrink. I expected pockets from the picture, silly me. I'm not happy with this purchase, but hey can't win them all I guess. These are to be a Christmas present - hopefully he'll be happier with them than I am, but I wouldn't suggest these for anyone else to buy as a Christmas gift unless it's maybe for a growing teenager that will soon outgrow them - they aren't built Ram tough that's for sure, I don't expect them to last. Maybe make a good stocking stuffer since they are so thin.
