Needed Power Conversion Unit to Use

Since this was being shipped to the U.S., I assumed it would have the necessary power connection for use. It did not. I had to buy a $45.00 European Power Conversion adapter to power the 6v AC unit. The instructions said it would take batteries, but there is no place for batteries or batteries that run on 6VAC. Not impressed.

No way to power it

It comes with a European style plug. No way they fit in the U.S. outlets. I have to buy a converter plug, or somehow get it to work. I was told it takes batteries, but the manual doesn't say so and I see no place to put them. The manual does say it comes with rechargeable batteries, but how do they get charged without the right plug? I'm very disappointed. I wish I could return it, but I lost the internal packaging with all the Christmas packages.

Lost the user manual,does anyone remember how to set the an alarm time for this, thanks. Please let me know.
