The best battle gnome a girl could ask forby C. Kajtsa (5 out of 5 stars)

I was so excited when my battle gnome landed on my porch that blustery, spring day. I have a bunch of sprites and fairies who are creating havoc in my garden and I really needed something to set them straight (in other words, kick their sparkly butts to the curb).
I received my battle gnome super fast, in excellent condition (if a gnome is going to protect my garden, he MUST be in tip top fighting form).
The mighty battle gnome has lived up to his name, because after the yelling and screaming had died down, I noticed that my garden was all clear of sprites and fairies! Thank you, battle gnome!
I love my little guy, despite his tough exterior and his occasional swearing, but I think it might be time to buy another fighting gnome to keep him company. Late at night, I've heard weeping coming through my window and I suspect that now that all the fairies and sprites are gone, Mr. Gnome has nothing to do and really needs a friend (or foe) whom he can play (or fight) with.
Soon, I will buy another battle warrior from Gardengnomeworld.com very soon because their service was impeccable and their gnomes in excellent shape. Thank you!

When I purchased the GNOME, I didn't pay attention to the size. I figured it was like the typical garden gnome and would be able to sit in the garden. Turns out it's only FOUR INCHES tall. If you want a real garden gnome, this isn't the one for you. However; I'm giving this 5 stars because this little guy is awesome! While it won't go in the garden, its perfect to display on a shelf or maybe on your desk at the office. Will definitely buy more to add to the collection.
Cute, but not quite as pictured.

This guy is about the perfect size to pose somewhere unexpected in an herb garden, and the detail is pretty good. However, the overall colour was much, much, MUCH darker than what was pictured. Everything from his clothing to his skin tone to his beard (which was almost yellowish, not the bright white in the photos) was significantly darker than pictured. It's not a huge deal, it's just sort of weird to get something so drastically different from what is pictured.
Got him on sale.

It was on sale. Still by computer. I love dwarves, not gnome looking.

These guys are cool! They really should have a few more. The box was cool also. I just wanted these for the garden... but the figure and the box itself are collectable as toys.
Neat, but it is a little small

I get that he is crouched down and when you put him next to other garden gnomes his size does fell proportional to them. But when he's by himself, he is just a little on the tiny side.
I wish they made two sizes of this gnome, one that was scale with other gnomes and one that was like 10 or 14 inches high that could stand on it's own in the garden.
Cute but Small

I knew it would be small from reading the reviews and measurements but of course when you see it in person you get the double reminder that it is indeed small. It's really too small to put out in a yard, he won't be noticed. But my husband put him on his desk at work and it makes him happy. As long as you're ok with a small gnome not really suited for a yard you'll like him. He does look exactly as pictured.
MOVE OVER THOR!

This is a great little gnome! Makes for a great surprise in the garden as he peeks out suspiciously at strangers. The only drawback is that he's so small -- barely 4" so you need to put him in a pot or somewhere he's visible. It he's In the grass between plants, he's easily missed.
Overall, really like him; he's unique as far as gnomes go!

He sits on my desk at work and makes me laugh every time I look at him. This little guy is the best!
A little superglue and it was all good to go

It arrived with the hammer "handle" broken. It was still properly packaged so I think it was just one of those things that happens. A little superglue and it was all good to go, so still 5 stars from me. Looks awesome!
