One seat.. two cats.. there's gonna be a rumble..by Ariel D. (4 out of 5 stars)

Not bad! Directions were easy to understand and the product a snap to put together. I was extra careful to be sure that the window I put it on was indeed a DOUBLE PANED window. Seems that the others who have had problems with the suction cups not working haven't noticed whether or not their windows are double-paned or not.
Cleaned my window first with Windex and also cleaned the cups; they stick on like champs except for one. I was cautious with this item and stuck it on a window that basically needed an "extension" of the frame of the sill. That is, the sill was wide enough for cats to sit on, but not to lounge upon, and also only about 10 inches from the floor (this was a large picture window in the front room). I thought, IF the suction cups don't hold long, then they don't have that far to fall. I should note too that this seat I chose for a hot, big, South-facing window. Cats love to be HOT, especially in an air-conditioned house!
The only suction cup that has a problem was one for the "side" portions - not the critical "suspension" parts that hold the whole thing up. Our largest cat, Alex (18 lbs!) squeezed into it and I think has only left for meals and to pee. The other cat, Aleister, (10 lbs) circles around it mournfully, waiting for Alex to leave. He grabs the "opera box" the moment it's vacant. So I'm thinking about getting another someday soon.
The suction cup that disconnected turned out to be dusty, so I cleaned it off with Windex again, cleaned the window, left the suction cup slightly damp and re-fitted it. No problems! It's been up for two weeks now with no further failure.
The only thing I wish that this thing had was a more "fitted" cover. The one provided is like an open-ended pillowcase that wasn't very tight-fitting and gaps at the lip (the open part), causing sagging. On my next trip to a thrift store, I plan to buy two old towels and sew them together for a new, comfy, 'fitted' cover.
Otherwise, Cat Mom scores again!! Woohoo Mom!!

The product I purchased supposed to be the cat sunny seat window-mounted bed from Oster and I received the one from as seen on TV😡 That was false advertisement and it came from China. Everything smelled really bad like chemicals and the suction are yellowish. Aside from that it only held up 15 min (without a cat on it). Very bad product.
A MUST buy!

I've had cats all my life and know how finicky they can be. I just recently took in a stray and wanted to find him his own little space in my bedroom, but I was nervous about what he would like. I found the Sunny Seat and got it even though it had some bad reviews. I am SO glad I did. Tucker ADORES it, and only gets off of it to cuddle with me for a little bit before heading back to his perch.
Some Tips:
I was worried when I saw a review saying their cat got stuck on the line, and I also noticed Tucker trying to bite and play with the line. So I went to the hardware store and bought clear hollow bendable tubing (it was like 14 cents a foot) and used scissors to cut straight down it so I could pop it right over the line. I highly suggest doing this, you can barely tell it's there and it makes me feel so much better about the safety of my cat and the protection of the lines. (I have added a customer picture of Tucker on the bed if you want to see how the tubing looks).
I also went to the pet store and bought an extra-small dog kennel fleece bed to add padding and the size is perfect, looks like it was made for the Sunny Seat. And I ordered a suction cup toy from Amazon so that he won't lose a toy over the edge of the bed.
I noticed that some of the reviews also say they experienced a strong chemical smell to the bed- I have had no problem with that. If you're worried about it I suggest going to Bed Bath and Beyond so you can pull it out of the package before buying it to smell it and make sure yours is okay.
Overall this has been the best product I've ever purchased for a pet. It's strong and sturdy, the perfect size and the only bed I've found other than my own that I can't get my cat out of.

UPDATE
It's been nine months and Tucker still loves this bed ten times more than anything else I've bought him. He sleeps in it anytime he's not sleeping with me... it's his main "place" in the house. Several friends have bought it upon my recommendation and their cats love the sunny seat just as much.
That awful cold winter we just had would occasionally cause one or two of the suction cups to slip, anything else that affects glass will also do it- like a sudden change in temperature, but whenever this happens I just quickly clean that area of glass and put the suction cup back on. It's never fallen off completely before I can get to it.
Also, my cat is no longer interested at all by the line that's attached to the two top suction cups... I have been able to take off the tubing with no problems. I have a feeling most cats also eventually lose interest in playing with it once the bed is no longer new.
Still recommend this product whole-heartedly!
MY CATS LOVE THEIR SUNNY SEAT!!

My cats LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE their sunny seats! I was nervous as some reviews mentioned cats getting tangled in the thin cords that hold them. But another reviewer suggested covering w/ clear plastic tubing which I did. It's kinda a pain in the butt to cut the tubing (you can get at Home Depot or that type store... in the plumbing department). It really doesn't make a huge difference in the look and I have never once worried about my kitties getting wrapped up in them. They actually don't even pay any attention to them. But they lay in their seats all day long! I have two and if I'm home they will sit in whichever room I am in. Make sure you pick a window that gets sunshine though... they love that!!
Do not even buy a perch from Amazon...

I took the risk and I still got the cheap one. Nothing on the box indicates it is Oster brand. It is made in China, but this is not necessarily a negative or telling thing. However, the product just looks cheaply made and I was really most put off by the rough and overly stiff feeling of the perch material. I think the safer bet for purchasing a pet perch is to go straight to an actual online pet store or just physically go to a pet store and buy direct.
Amazon is great and mostly reliable, but when there are multiple sellers of the same or what appears to be the same product the chances of getting what you expected become more slim.

This cat window seat is AMAZING!! If you look at the picture I attached, it held one VERY large cat plus 5 foster kittens with no signs of wavering. It has let go from the window a few times but not a lot by any means. My cats also chew on the plastic anchor strings but so far they haven't been able to damage them too much. LOVE this product!
A great purchase!

I've had this fro almost tow years now and it is still one my 20lb. guy's favorite things I have gotten for him. He climbs up and watches all the goings-on out doors and even gets lucky once in a while to get a close-up with squirrel climbing the building.
The suction cups work great, but it helps to make sure they're a little wet when you first stick them on. Then test how secure it is by applying some of your own weight to it. Not a LOT of weight, but enough to be confident your cat will be ok in it.
A couple of minor issues: 1) I actually can't remove the fabric cover without taking the whole thing apart and removing the cables from the suction cups which, once they're in a pretty impossible to get out. I just wipe it down with some soap & water occasionally. 2) My cat sometimes likes to chew on the cables while he's in it. I'm afraid that one day it's going to just come crashing down but in nearly two years it hasn't. The cables are pretty strong, but I wrap peacock feathers around the cable, so when he bites it, he gets a mouth full of that instead.
So all in all, a great purchase with a high "kitty_satisfaction : cost" ratio.
6 months and the sides have torn out

**update** the 2 purchased in January have already torn at the side seams, it seems as tho the product is being made cheaper than a few years ago. Aside from the blown out sides, the middle has NO support. Even for the price, I am disappointed. 2015 version has poorer suction cups as well.

My little boys LOVE this bed! I received it a few days ago, took less than 5 min to have it up and ready for action. They took to it immediately. I wanted this specific design since i have noticed they've been trying to force their tubby little bodies onto the narrow window sills of a specific window. I wanted to see how it held up first before ordering a second one, so they each have their own. The second one arrives today :) This bed is VERY sturdy! A few things to note - Like a few other reviewers mentioned, i believe there are 2 versions of this bed being sent out for this listing. The one i received was the one in a plain brown box, NOT the one with the 'As Seen on TV" graphic. The one i received is the better version of the two. The second thing and you absolutely MUST do it in order for the installation to be successful is you HAVE to clean BOTH the suction cups AND the spot on the window they will be sticking to. I used some little alcohol prep wipes i had on hand, worked like a charm. The suction cups are not budging any time soon. I will likely remove them every so often just to clean and touch them up so that they continue to remain safe for my little boys, Sammy and Dean.
Be careful which verison of this product you get!!!!

I have one of these that i purchased a year ago. I have five cats, they all love the thing, so I saved my pennies so i could order three more.
I ordered three of them a few weeks ago, and I got them from Amazon in two separate shipments. The first shipment, containing two units, arrived quickly but with not what I expected.
These first two perches came in smaller boxes, unassembled, and with very thin, cheap plastic PVC and plastic wires connecting to the suction cups. They are really poorly designed and i'm really disappointed. One is still in the box, but both are going to be returned.
The third perch arrived a few days later in a large, flat box - fully assembled, and with strong PVC pipes and strong metal wires connecting the suction cups. It's the same model as the first unit I purchased over a year ago. Must have been from a different manufacturer. So, my question...
Why is Amazon selling an item and distributing product from two very different manufacturers??
If you buy this, be careful if your unit arrives in a box about 14"x7"x3". It's a piece of junk, and there is a much better unit available from Amazon. Both units have a label that says DRP-SUNY-BLT6 Sunny Seat. But the good unit is in a box that is 24"x14"x1.5".
Picture of good unit (large box) and bad unit (small box) are attached.
Good Unit - 5 stars. Bad Unit - 0 stars
BE CAREFUL!!
