[UPDATE] from 1 star to 4 stars
After I had my issue, Pawbo's customer service team reached out to me and helped me replace the item so that is a huge plus. I've been using the replacement Pawbo Catch for about 4 weeks with no problem. Other pros and cons are below.
----
Stopped working after 2 weeks.
I also own Pawbo Life Wi-Fi Pet Camera (2nd Gen): 720p HD Video, 2-Way Audio, Video Recording, Treat Dispenser, and Laser Game My 8-week-old kitten loved this. At first it was afraid (it makes a gear-grinding noise), but after about a day and tying her favorite ribbon around it, she got used to it and started playing with it. It comes with a remote control so you can also use it standalone when you're home and don't want to activate it through the app. I used it almost every day while checking up on my cat during work.
Then I didn't use it for ~4 days and it stopped working altogether. I wasn't using it any differently than all the other days. I tried to troubleshoot by replacing the batteries, trying a different switch, using both the remote control and the app, and it's just completely dead. It's been 18 days since I've had this so my next step is to figure out how to return this.

Stop working after a month...
I bought two, one for my own and one for my friend. At first, my cats are a bit terrier but they get obsessed with the toy pretty soon! However, both of the toys stop working after around a month. I tried changing batteries (both toy and the remote), still not working. Pawbo camera cannot link and control the toy either. I'm pretty disappointed...with this price of toy it should have come with a better quality...my next step is to contact the support and hope to get an exchange. But with both of the toys being dysfunction, It made me feel like it's not just a sample error.

Looks promising but failed to work. New batteries in the controller and base unit. It does nothing, at all.
This is not the first time the UK stuck it to me. Bush bush sleeps next to it sometimes. I think she's doing that for my benefit.
~ Still not working. Contacted the maker and they said that's what is supposed to do. I clearly seen that thing whipping around with a cat. No whipping at all on mine. Cat lost all interest and now has to take antidepressants.
~Angered by the lack of attention to correct the issue, and deep rooted depression, have led cat to drinking and fights in the neighborhood.
Works as advertised but needs a little improvement

Interesting idea but somewhat lacking in execution. It works well with the Pawbo monitor as long as it's on flat hard surface because of a tab on the bottom that needs to be displaced by the floor. The purpose of this is unclear to me. At first the kittens took to it but they quickly lost interest. If I could attach a longer stick with string on it, I think their interest would have lasted longer. As it is, after about a week, the kittens lost all interest.
Good - wish their was more control

It says in the description that the device comes with a remote, however mine did not. The quick guide inside does not list the remote under the contents of the box. Without the remote you cannot control the Theme Park on it's own. It will only randomly move around when you press the number associated with it on the app. I wish that I could control it myself from the app.
Update: I contacted Pawbo and they sent me a remote. It was left out of the box by mistake. They're customer service response was timely and apologetic. Added a star for the customer service.
The remote has the same functionality as the app. When pressing the button correlating with the device number it triggers the Theme Park to randomly move around for a short period. I was hoping that the remote would allow me to control the actions of the Them Park besides a random movement.

This was an extremely cool idea,I loved it way more than my cat though! It was a gamble to buy because he's so finicky about what he likes and doesn't like, unfortunately he wasn't that into this. But,I know other cats would love it. It spins wildly with a feather stick, what's not to love? And it expands what you can do with Pawbo while you're out, from beyond a laser game to a physical cat teaser.

I tried to set mine up and put in fresh batteries. Didn't work. Found a USB plug and connected it to power. Didn't work. Sounded like a great idea, but guess it will be heading back to where it came!
This was a waste of money

The Pawbo Catch doesn't really work. I've only been able to get it to move a couple of times. I've tried different batteries and tried to look online for trouble shooting, but nothing is available. This was a waste of money.

Really disappointed that this $50 cat toy did not last longer given that we hardly used it. :(
