I suspected when I bought this that it would smell horrible, but I thought it would be hilarious to hang it in my car and see how people reacted to a mac and cheese air freshener. I was right- it smells astoundingly bad. I rated this three stars because maybe somebody out there wants an air freshener that actually smells like mac and cheese. This one doesn't. It's still hilarious.

Got this as a gag gift for my sister to give to her friend. Omg, though, it smelled so awful we just tossed it. I don't know what kind of pasta they're cooking up, but it's disgusting!

If you're getting this as a joke/gag gift I say go for it. If you genuinely want an air freshener that smells like Mac and cheese then don't. It smells so god awful, it's actually kinda funny but also super gross.

Mail package arrived promptly and fine, but the actual product package looked old, had several cracks /holes in it - all of which I'm sure has decreased the potency of the air freshener. It does smell like mac n cheese, just not that strong.

Very funny for a gag gift. However opened it up at party and had to put it back in bag..smells like barf! Really gross...but since it was a gag gift I didn't care.

Don't waste your money. I'm sorry I didn't read all these reviews first. The smell is disgusting and nothing like Mac and Cheese. It is cute to look at, but odor is horrible.
