Good chair, made in China with questionable quality-assurance and support from sellerby Tiger 72 (3 out of 5 stars)

I like the chair but the maker's customer service and manufacturing quality control is suspect.
We bought the chair and notice one of the four attachment points had poorly threaded openings for a set-screw that holds the fabric portion to the frame. Within 2 weeks of light to moderate use, there were no threads left to hold the screw in. The part in question was a very small and likely cheap piece of aluminum that would probably fit in a standard US Mail envelope. As per the instructions on the box (saying to contact RST directly instead of the seller in case of problems) I contacted the seller, RST, and asked for a replacement part. RST told me they do not have replacement parts, but Amazon would. Making sure I understood correctly as I couldn't see Amazon stocking replacement parts for anything, much less a random patio chair, I took a picture of the very small part in question and sent it again to RST -- confirming that the $0.10 part could not be obtained at all -- and that I would have to return the entire chair just to get the replacement part. RST confirmed that was the case.
So I contacted Amazon and initially asked if they had replacement parts as RST indicated. Of course, they did not. Amazon offered a 20% refund of the price; however, with the part defective, the chair was next to useless -- so I returned it.
The replacement chair rec'd had the same problem in the same location -- the lower left attachment cam had very poorly machined threads. I just took a good cam from the defective chair, attached it to the replacement chair, and returned both defective cams with the defective chair.
All in all RST appears to be just a importer from China and little more. They apparently have a warehouse (or shipping container) of these chairs but no additional parts should something break or there's a manufacturing defect. It seemed a waste to return the entire chair over such an easy, small, cheap to replace part, but the way their operation is set-up, that appeared to be the only recourse.
I looked at buying a tap-set, and tapping-out the threads to a larger size; however, the cam receiver then may not be small enough for the larger set-screw -- creating a new problem. In the end, I just got a complete working chair by piecing together parts from two units.
The chair is (now) excellent and comfortable.
Super comfortable

I was a little hesitant to buy these chairs originally. They looked sort of weird and I couldn't get a good sense for the material and construction from the photos.
With that said, I am pleasantly surprised at how well-made these chairs are! The materials is like a soft, comfortable woven canvas and the color is really pretty.
When I say that these chairs are comfortable, I mean you could fall asleep without notice in these chairs. I originally purchased two chairs but then my guests would fight over who "got the good chairs," so I purchased two more additional chairs.
Building the chair is easy and takes no time at all.
I've owned these chairs for about 5 months now and they've been through rain, ice, snow, intense sun and they still look beautiful.
Highly, highly recommend these chairs.
Pros
- Really Stylish
- Canvas material is (so far) very durable
- The most comfortable pool lounger I've sat in
- Easy to build
- Has stoppers on the orbitals to stop you from leaning too far back and falling out of the chair
Cons
- None
I would recommend....if you are looking for an ab workout. UPDATED REVIEW: Rust issues when submerse

Great chair. A bit of time to assemble but second one is a breeze once you get the hang of it. Looks great! Takes a bit of core strength to get it rocking so if you want to relax and rock, this is not the chair for you. It feels like I am getting an ab workout if I want to rock this thing... Otherwise seems to e a good quality chair that is easy on the back if you want to sit back and lounge
UPDATE: I originally gave this chair a 4 star review with the commentary I provided above. Unfortunately I have since thrown these chairs away after less than a full season of use. 5 months after we bought them, a storm came through and the chairs ended up in the pool due to high winds. This happens on rare occasion with our pool furniture. We got them out of the pool and let them dry on the patio. We came out the next day and there was a rust ring stain on the concrete underneath the chair. The chairs started to rust on the inside and "rust water" must have dripped out of the chair and onto the concrete. I had to use CLR and a bristle brush and scrub hard to get the stains out. Not my idea of quality chairs. Chairs were comfortable and everything else was great on the chair, but I can't deal with the stains on the concrete. I assume these are not aluminum or they would not have rusted. I did not notice the rust after regular rainfall, but if you are near a pool/lake/pond etc., I would recommend you secure them to prevent them getting submerged. I know this is a rare instance and most will not deal with this issue, but want to pass along regardless for the pool owners. I moved to more aluminum lounge chairs instead this season. Good luck!
The same awesome lounge chair I bought and reviewed last year from Strathwood

Last year about this same time I bought this same chair from Amazon under the Strathwood brand name, and enjoyed it all through our outdoor seasons. Our only problem was that it was the favorite chair of both me and my wife (amazing, as we almost never like the same chairs), as well as anyone else who visited, including our 4 year old grandson, but we only had the one chair, and have not been able to order another since until I noticed it under the new brand name RST (Red Star Traders) last week, and immediately placed an order.
The new chair arrived today, was easy to assemble, and looks and fits exactly like the one we bought last year.
If you'd like one too, be sure to order before the supply for this year runs out.
Note: as I pointed out in my earlier review of the Strathwood version, this chair looks like it will be hard to get into and out of, and unstable, and blow away in the wind, but has none of those problems. To get in, just put one foot on each side of the front section of the seating area and let yourself down in the middle portion. The chair will rock back and forth, but has rubber stops to keep it from going too far back. Its tubes are also coated at the bottom to protect the floor below and keep the chair quiet in use. To get out, just rock forward, put one foot on each side again, and stand up normally.
Highly recommended!
Bought for my parents, they love it

Its comfortable, very easy to set up, and the box was very well packed. Delivered quickly. It looks pretty unique, with its orbital design, but it's not ugly so it fits on my parent's deck well. The fabric is weather resident, and the frames are coated so that it withstands rain. When you are in it, its more like laying down, as opposed to leaning back. The velco pillow is useless, but stays in place. Its a bit high for us, but we are a shorter family. (5'4-5'9). Without surprise, it rocks very easily. Getting in and out is easy on the knees and back as well.
I was afraid that it would blow away from high winds, because the lounger is rather light. It rocked a lot but was still there after a night of 20-30 mph winds. I would recommend putting it somewhere that would not damage something, windows and the like, when not in use.
My parents lounge around on it very often. Once I saw my dad lean back too far so he flipped over, but that was his fault as he was trying to show me that it DIDN'T tip over because of the catch on the bottom frame, so he used excessive force to lean back. Of course, with enough weight and force, it tipped over. Thankfully, the fall over was very slow, so he didn't hurt himself at all.
I would not recommend this for kids under the age of "I will try everything to get hurt." I have to watch my 2 and 5 year old nephews VERY carefully when they play on this thing, just so that they don't tip it over climbing over it. My parent's little dogs on the other hand, loves it, and they jump off and on it as if it was their own bed.
Would recommend to readers and retirees who love to lounge around watching the sky.
Great Patio Lounger for Apartment Balcony
by Gal on the Go (4 out of 5 stars)

I initially purchased the Luis Orbital Zero Gravity Lounger because of its simplistic design and opulent look. It only took me a few minutes to put together. As soon as I reclined in the lounger I was hooked! It's very comfortable -- the fabric stays cool in hot temperatures and dries quickly after getting wet from rain. It's a sizable item, but the simplistic lines give it a clean appearance on your balcony/porch/deck. It also folds away easily and quickly if you need to store it. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because the Velcro pillow adheres toward the top of the lounger, so if you're petite you have to unfasten the pillow to comfortably fit where your head/neck reach.

I bought this for my wife who recently gave birth. The idea was she could relax on the patio outdoors and nurse/feed the baby. It arrived in neat package and took very little time to build/set up. The design is modern and just as pictured. The chair itself is quite sturdy. I'm 200lbs with medium frame and there is no wobbly issues. The chair has two rear "stoppers" which prevent the chair from being rocked too far back even though its really difficult to topple on its end. Its a comfortable fit for the nursing mother and her baby and gives a great angle to relax and stretch out. Not quite the chair to curl up into because its more of a rocker than not so there is movement when you move. Its great value and lovely design that belies its price point great for patios and pools and paved gardens once its all even surfaces.
Great looking - Short life span...

We bought two these chairs. They are very comfortable, lightweight, unusual. However, after two years in the Florida sun, the rubber enveloping the lower legs melts and horribly stains your deck pavers, requiring commercial power washing and resealing. Water also gets inside the tubular frame when it rains and all the screws are rusted. So caveat emptor, good for two seasons max...
I LOVE my chair

I LOVE my chair! It's super comfortable and I love that it has movement instead of being solidly stationary.
However, it is made for taller people than my 5'3" stature. The weight distribution for say someone 6 football tall would be balanced top and bottom and the stopping pegs at the back would be entirely adequate. Someone short, or god forbid a child, most of the distribution is at the back and I can say from experiencing a loooong drop that the pegs won't stop it and it hurts!
My second run at it I was prepared. I use another pillow from the house to help with the weight issue and I never forget my first run at it.

Let me start by saying that I am a 6ft 200lbs+ female. I was concerned about the sturdiness of the product and the length but I took a chance because a few reviews said that the chair was awkward for their small frame. I assembled the chair with my teenage daughter and it was a breeze. Now I enjoy relaxing on my balcony after a long day. By the way I placed it on an apt balcony and there is still room to walk around. This is a great product and value. Shipping was fast.
