Works great!by Danny Grizzle (5 out of 5 stars)

Surprised how well this product works. I've got a dedicated car mount, but it is time consuming to rig and difficult to level. This system is easy to transport, fast to rig, and plenty secure with lightweight, low profile cameras. I use mine with Panasonic 4K cameras -- both a GH4 and a FZ1000. I remove the camera straps because of wind resistance. I've run these cameras mounted on the car hood for extended periods at highway speeds, including one day in freezing temperatures. The only precaution is I use a spray bottle and microfiber cloth to carefully clean the car before attaching the suction cups. This all made me very nervous at first, but the system has held secure and arrived safely every time. Very satisfied. Great performance at a very reasonable cost - muchnless than dedicated car mounts.
SUPER Versatility! Where YOU want to put your camera?

I LOVE this thing! Right away it opened up so much potential shooting options for me. Feels like I can put it anywhere AND TRUST it! I've tested it to at least 85MPH if not more. I used to use other suction cup mounts and I would constantly check them to make sure they held, NOT this thing! Once I'm 100% sure that it's secure before we start rolling, I focus on the action, NOT on if it's gonna fall off. It's also very solid. I was concerned about it wobbling. Gotta mount it right, but when you do it's GREAT!
I want to do a bigger review on my own personal show that I have where I do reviews, BUT, I don't want too many people knowing about my new secret weapon...well...wherever I shoot I get a LOT of attention. lol. People are just amazed at the product.
A must for car shooting!

We pulled off a realistic driving scene thanks to Cinetics! The Squid is worth it! Strong as nails, easy to arrange. Even shooting 4K it remained stable and reliable.

If these were $40, they would be great. But given their ridiculously high price-tag, I expect them to be near flawless in what the report to do. They stick just fine, but whenever I tried to adjust my Gorillapod (which takes a good deal of force with the tension in a Focus), the legs would pop out of the cinesquid socket. Even when I tightened them about as tight as I possibly could (to the point that it was very difficult to loosen them..), the legs still popped out.
If you have the set-up ready to go, I wouldn't worry about it falling (given that you've properly set it up). But having your ability to adjust the gorillapod so limited is extremely frustrating.
Pro: -Once set up, pretty safe.
Cons: -Difficult to adjust
-Over-priced
-Transfers a lot of vibrations
In the end, I decided to return it. It would have been nice, but not for the pricetag.

Are the CineSquid Suction Cups compatible with the Job SLR-ZOOM?

Amazon: I can not answer my own question.
Answer from Cinetics
We designed CineSquid to work specifically with the GorillaPod Focus tripod. And it is the combination of the larger tripod and larger suction cup that enable it to hold more. And the strong connection between the two. A plastic ring is definitely something we can look into, but not in the plans right now.
All:
Has anybody found a plastic ring which could do the trick? The ring might need to have a gap, to allow the ring to become smaller when tightening the suction cups or to allow the ring to fit around the SLR-ZOOM leg to make it just big enough to mimic a Joby Focus leg. This gap could be accomplished with a saw.
