take the time to learn how to use it and you will love it.

I bought this a few weeks ago. I debated about it because of the negative reviews. But never owning a fancy $400 air fryer I fell in love with this one. the complaints were its not like the picture you cant stack food in it. Well that is true for frying in a pan also to cook evenly in a fry pan it has to be in a single layer. what I have found with this is that I can cook a 3 course meal for 2 people in this one bowl. I have made steak (which my husband said was better then he has ever tasted) pork chops, air fried chicken and baked ck breast. while cooking the chicken on one rack I can put the other rack in and cook veggies and bread on it. yes it does require timing it but what meal doesnt? I made pork chops with red potatoes and onions, broccoli and cheese and rolls all at the same time. just by learning how long each thing must cook. instead of just writing bad reviews the 1st time you used it because you dont know how I recommend using it leaning how to recook foods. once you get the hang of it you will hardly ever use your stove again. as i type I have chicken and mixed veggies cooking. I am glad I was not put off by all the negative feedback and went ahead and purchased this. and took the time to learn how to use it.

WELL..... I was just beginning to lear how to use this and WAS enjoying it but I honestly only used it 5 or 6 times for small things such as fries. I recieved this for Christmas from my husband. He ordered it on Nov. 17th. Last Friday which was January 26th I used it for French fries and the top plastic part melted! It looks like melted candle wax. I checked about returning it today, Feb. 2nd and the window to return the item was 2 days ago...... NOT VERY HAPPY!!!!!

Crispy, Crunchy Comfort Food

Sometimes you want a Corn Dog. With a Couple of Spritzes of Oil and a Few Minutes in This Air Fryer, You have a State Fair Crispy Corn Dog. Onion Rings, Breaded Mushrooms and Wings All Wonderful. It Does Fantastic Bacon. It's Very easy 400 degrees Five Minutes on Each Side. They also have some Great Stir Fry Recipes. Cleanup is a Snap. Turn the Racks over pour in about an inch of Water and add 3-4 Drops of Dishwashing Detergent. It has a Dishwashing mode on the Dial. Set your Timer for Ten Minutes. Let it Cool Rinse it out and You are Done. One more Idea Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs. I Use Four Oz Hot Dogs Toothpick Both Ends and Wrap the Bacon Around the Hot Dog. Cook at 400 degrees until Crispy about 12 Minutes. We Use it almost Every Day.

Mixed feelings - Slow to cook - Bulky

It takes a very long time to cook anything--but the food is good. Fries were good-bacon was good-tried some frozen mac/cheese balls with green chili's from Sam's, it took about 30 min to do with constant turning. Fish is a quick easy meal as a rule, but not with this device. Maybe it's the manual's instructions that need some adjusting on time/temp. I had no luck cooking, after 35 minutes. I cooked at the recommended temp then began turning temp up every 10 minutes or so. I gave up and popped them in to the fry pan and finished it.

The pictures shows fried chicken in the lower part and fries on the top. I haven't attempted to cook anything in the lower part--chicken with bone in would not be my choice -- I'm sure it would take a long time.

It's bulky and takes up a lot of cabinet space and a lot of parts to clean up afterwards.

This thing works great and does not cause a mess on the stove

This thing works great and does not cause a mess on the stove. It is easy to clean. The bottom is easy to clean in the sink. My wife purchased one and then had to leave six months ago to take care of her mother. So here by myself, I'm not going to make a huge mess to cook bacon or even fish sticks. This fryer does it very well and, the grease factor is not there, so you won't be clogging any arteries!

Only down side is the grille parts do not have a really good chrome finish. You will clean the chrome really easy with a scotch brite pad and it gets through the chrome to the copper layer under the chrome. But it is better than eating teflon. Trust me, that stuff is not good for you.

Best air fryer on market!

I've been shopping for an AirFryer for months but most of them are small (<3quarts) and only cook a partial meal. When I came across this one it was just what I was looking for it's 16 quarts in size allowing me to cook more than one type of food at a time and it comes with a spacer to accomodate your hright of the cooktop to prevent drying out meats, plus you can see your food as it cooks. I love the recipe book that comes with it as well.

Speedy, convenient & healthy

This is an amazing appliance for the price. It even dehydrates food.

What we like. The BB is big and can be made bigger with the extender ring - options. It's glass and we can see everything as its cooking. This is especially nice as we learn how use this thing. Saves us from under cooking or burning food.

The controls are simple and not digital. Turn 2 knobs and we're cooking already. The accessories are almost enough - more below about this.

With the extender ring, it's so easy to cook/dehydrate a lot of food at once; it really amps up the volume. With the extender ring in place, the BB is big enough to roast a 16 lb turkey. OK, maybe we'll never use the wall oven ever again...lol.

Although we've had the BB for less than a month, we sure hope that it lasts. We might order a second one as a back-up because it works so well and probably has built-in obsolescence.

Accessories - we ordered the Sharper Image accessory package and returned it. All that we really wanted from this pack was the mesh bowl.

Okey dokey, pizza screens are available from the WebStaurantStore (yes, spelled this way) online at anywhere from $1.39/ea to $2.09/ea for 10", 11" and 12" pizza screens. We have them in these 3 graduated sizes to fit in the bowl because its diameter increases from bottom to top. The 12" screen just fits inside the top of the bowl. It's a fantastic way to protect the BB's heating element from flying food like kale chips.

We also bought some anodized aluminum hard pizza screens at $10.49/ea. The material is naturally non-stick, will never rust and is super rigid. We use these on both top & bottom for support. On the bottom it's with parchment paper to make clean-up a breeze.

The prices on Amazon for these products are obscene even when we included WebStaurantStore shipping. Just search for pizza screens at this online retailer.

Browse through the WebStaurantStore's other products to fully accessorize this model at a fraction of the cost of the accessory packages. What's more, the commercial kitchen products are much sturdier than the homemaker offerings for the air fryers.

Given the BB's cooking capacity with the extender ring, we also wanted a way to stack 3 layers of food. This model has a greater cooking capacity than any other of the air fryers. At this price point it's an exceptional bargain compared to other brands.

So, we ordered a some culinary mesh deep fryer baskets from WSS and the DH cut off the handles. If you don't have access to a shop, then this model with a removable handle from Amazon is also great - Best Utensils Stainless Steel Deep Fry Basket Round Wire Mesh Fruit Strainer With Resting Feet and Long Handle Frying Cooking Tool Food Presentation Tableware, 5.7 Quart
.

We ordered from WSS 10.5" wire steamer racks with folding legs to stack inside the BB (also stupidly expensive on Amazon). WSS online steamer racks are $1.68/ea and the legs can be removed for stacking 2 together to make the mesh smaller when set on the diagonal. Similar models are also on Amazon. Chrome-Plated Cross-wire Cooling Rack, Wire Pan Grate, Baking Rack, Icing Rack, Round Shape, 2-Height Adjusting Legs - 10 ½ Inch Diameter, Set of 3

Another mesh basket possibility for light foods like kale chips is this, back to the century, handy dandy folding mesh basket. Cooks Net - Instant Essential and Flexible Kitchen Helper
. For fluffy foods like kale chips, we use a fryer basket with a pizza screen inverted on top of the fryer basket to keep the kale from flying up into the heating element. Because the fryer basket is rigid, it's easier to shake the food part way through cooking as instructed in many of the recipes.

And there we have it. We love the BB and have fully tricked it out from an online commercial kitchen supplier with items that aren't necessarily air fryer accessories. WSS's 'accessory' offerings are better quality and less expensive.

Happy air frying!

BEST CHICKEN FRYER EVER!
by CHI MOM,Top Contributor: Photography (5 out of 5 stars)
December 31, 2017

I bought this air fryer after a friend raved about hers (she has a different brand). I read the reviews, looked at other fryers but ultimately came back to this one. I liked the fact that it's clear and you can check on your food as it air fries. I used it during Christmas vacation to cook some chicken I waz afraid would spoil. Oh my goodness! These boneless, skinless chicken breasts "fried" up perfectly! Tender and juicy inside, lightly fried outside! My husband finally used it New Year's Eve for buffalo chicken wings. I'm not a fan of wings but these things were delicious! Then I used it for chicken breasts marinated in a Moroccan Tangine sauce. They were perfectly cooked, juicy, the marinade cooked to it and it tasted great! If you're a skeptic, I understand. But do yourself a favor and try this air fryer! Easy to use, easy cleanup and delicious chicken! Highly recommend and I don't like to cook!

My husband loves this. We have made, potatoes, fish sticks and sausage in it. To be honest, he said that the sausage was the best flavor he has ever had. It even plumped up too. Oven, it is cooking in its own grease and tastes greasy, steaming it takes all of the flavor out of it. Air fry is the best. We spray the bowl before putting food in. This is by far one of the best appliances I have bought.

The fish sticks even tasted better than in the oven also.
