This looked like all the magic of a drizzle castle I remember from my own childhood. I got this for a multi family vacation. The kids liked it but it was hard t get it to work consistently. I think my kids would have been equally happy with a regular funnel. Not worth the money.

We love this! It's not the easiest for the 3.5 yr old to use, it has to have just the right ratio of sand to water, and it gets clogged, but when it works its magic! I know the kids will enjoy it even more when they are bigger.

Great toy for kids and adults. Only reason I didn't give it a five star was that it did clog easily but dipping in water a few times after dumping the sand out helped.

I so wanted this toy to be something both my 5 yo and 2.5 yo would love. I couldn't even get the thing to work half the time. :(

Easily clogs up and doesn't really work as expected. Nice concept but the physics don't work. Water gets the sand too wet at the meeting point of the funnel and does not flow out the tip.

Waste of Money

I would not waste your money, my son could not use this toy in his sand box, the sand we have in his sand box is natural sand, no rocks just sand and we could not get this thing to work, the sand got stuck right from the start. Better off just buying some sand castle molds and play characters, would have saved some money. This toy sucks and that is my opinion.

We've used it a few times. Construction seems solid but it doesn't work like the video shows. We have to put water in both sides for it to work like they show. I wouldn't spend $10 on another one.
