Lawn Lights is a decoration designed for consumers who want an extraordinary and unique holiday lighting display, but don't want to spend a lot of time, money, and effort on it. Lawn Lights create a stunning lighting display rivaling those created with conventional decorations which require significantly more time and effort, and do so at a comparable cost. Lawn Lights are very easy to setup - simply roll the string out and stake each of the LEDs. That's it! It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to set up a set (even less if more than 1 person is involved). Lawn Lights use just 1 of your scarce power outlets. All sets are flicker free (full-wave rectified) and include 25 ft between the plug and the first LED, so extension cords are not necessary in most cases. Lawn Lights are made with sealed waterproof 5mm round concave LEDs rated for 50,000 hours. The "Size" selection indicates roughly how many square feet each set of Lawn Lights will cover. The model number is shown in parenthesis - the first number indicates how many LEDs are on the string, and the second number indicates the spacing in feet between each LED. For Sparkling Lawn Lights sets, each LED independently blinks on and off at a 50% duty cycle and at about 22 cycles per minute to generate a unique 'sparkle' effect. For Morphing Multicolor Lawn Lights sets, each LED independently morphs its color through the spectrum of the rainbow (Morphing Multicolor changes slowly, Fast Transition changes quickly). Static Multicolor Lawn Lights sets do not change color. The 72-04 model is designed primarily for outlining and boundaries, but it can also be used to create a display with lights that are 4 times denser than those using other models of Lawn Lights. There is no "end-to-end" feature, but this feature is not necessary or needed to generate these amazing displays. LOVE my lawnlights

LOVE my lawnlights!!! They are absolutely beautiful. I have a very small yard and purchased the string with 72 lights and 4 feet spacing. I had to space the lights less than 4 feet apart in order to make them "fit" my yard. My yard is covered in wire and stakes, but also lights and it looks so pretty. I have not seen them in anyone else's Christmas displays so they are unique as well. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I did not receive all of the stakes with my order. I purchased 2 sets, one for each side of my yard and each set was missing 3 stakes. I reached out to Lawnlights and was told they would ship the extra stakes to me, but I still have not received them. I would still purchase them again and hopefully additional stakes will be available for purchase again through Lawnlights. One other issue, it took me hours to put these in my yard. The stakes do not fit the light properly so I had to adjust each stake so the lights would not fall out. I still LOVE my Lawnlights and would definitely purchase again!!!

HonestReview- These lights are fantastic! They make my lawn look sooOooOoo good! I have a big lawn and I purchased the biggest size, but it wasn't enough, so I only covered a portion of my lawn and put little Christmas trees to give it a good cut off line. For next year I will be purchasing another set or 2. It really looks like the stars fell from the sky onto my lawn. They are so bright and get compliments from my neighbors all the time! Installation was super easy, you put the green wire stakes down that are provided, then you slide in the LED bulb right in. Please see my pictures as a reference. The picture doesn't do it any justice, its really nice in person. You won't be disappointed.......well I hope not. I wish I could keep them up all year, but it would be a hassle mowing the lawn, haha.

Lights gave me the "POP" I was looking for!

THESE LIGHTS GAVE ME MY "POP"! PLEASE READ: For a residential community, I have a fairly extensive outdoor Christmas display &, to be honest, I don't know what made me purchase this particular set of "Lawn Lights"; however, I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID!! Once they arrived, I set the box off to the side and was actually considering to return them; however, once all of my lights were up, I was looking at my yard and something was missing. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why my display didn't have the "pop" that I was looking for. My wife reminded me about these "Lawn Lights", the box reads that it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes for 2 people to put the lights down, so I thought what the heck. My wife & I laid the lights out as described & pictured on the instructions & 10 minutes later, the lights were operating. As I looked over my display, I found that "pop" I was looking for! GIVE THEM A TRY & you may find your own "POP"! Enjoy!

These are one of my favorite decorations. I love them. Last year, half the string went out. I followed the manufacturers instructions in trouble checking and still couldn't get them to work. I went to the website and emailed them. They were quick with a response and offered to send me a replacement set. This is one of the best experiences I have had with a company. If you are on the fence because of the cost, fear not. This company will stand behind their product and you will not be dissatisfied. Wonderful product and wonderful company. I will purchase more in the future.

Quick Setup for a Unique Holiday Look

Set up for this kit was a snap. Following the advice of several other reviewers, I angled the stands that come with the lights so that they shine out and reflect off of the grass to give an additional glow to the surroundings. Make sure you leave enough slack so that if something (or someone) falls on the line, it doesn't yank them out of the stand. I got the warm whites which look pretty much like the photos and I think they look pretty decent from dusk to dawn. They are bright enough that if you turn them on during the day you can see them but it doesn't have quite the same effect (obviously). One thing to note is that the stands that come with the lights are green in color (I don't think you have a choice of color) so it can sometimes blend with the surrounding grass (even when it is cut down for the winter) so if a light comes off of the stand you may have to do a bit of searching to find it. All in all I'm quite pleased with the lights and have received plenty of compliments from friends and neighbors and of course the most important critic of all, my daughter.

Add some je ne sais quoi to your Christmas decorations!

Before I put these on my lawn I was just like everyone else in my neighborhood: I had a boring Christmas light display that left a lot to be desired. After installing them* on my lawn, my house was transformed into a showstopper. They filled the dark void between my bushes and trees and just added that extra -- how do you say? -- je ne sais quoi that was missing from the display.
*And by "installing them" I mean walking around my lawn letting the lights unspool in a random pattern with no thought what-so-ever.

PROs: They're unique. You won't be like every other house in your neighborhood...at least not yet anyway. They're also bright and nicely spaced and installation couldn't be any easier. I did it one handed (because I had beer in the other and didn't spill a drop) and it took all of seven minutes (including staking them).

CONs: The only thing that kept this from a five star review was the stakes that keep the lights above the ground are finicky. Some of the lights stay in easily whereas others just don't want to stay and/or want to point somewhere other than where you want them to point. Both of these can be overcome, but not without some minor effort. They're also easily pulled out by rambunctious dogs wanting you to play with them vs. behaving properly like well-mannered dogs should. Of course, this might just be my dog, so take that last bit with a grain of salt.

I got the cool white display and will be adding the morphing colors next year.

I've been very happy with this purchase. Got it in 2012, and it lasted 6 whole holiday seasons. It eventually died this winter, and no I'm not going to go through all 36 lights to find out which fuse needed replacement (or it was two fuses... that makes for 1,260 combinations, no thank you). I am however going to order another set for next season. Hopefully at some point they will make one that does not go out when one light is out :)

Classic, crisp and beautiful

Thought Husband was going to blow a gasket when I produced 3 boxes of the 72-4 lights. I explained how the lights were going to look like beautiful candle light in our yard. We bought an old stone farm house attached to a former church...how does one decorate a church home? With these lights, naturally. While I was staking them in the ground, Husband hooked up the power, and voila!! Cars were slowing down as we were putting them in the ground, no joke. I was relieved and tickled when I saw how Husband loved the lights. When we finished with all three strands, there's what looks like hundreds of candles in our front yard. The picture doesn't do it justice. But these lights are a show stopper and need no other accessory (other than Peace on Earth spotlighted on the church). PS. I just bought 2 more boxes. Don't tell Husband.

Experience with 2 different sets of lawn lights

I'm pretty fond of these lights. I previously owned the white "tinkling" version of lawn lights and really loved them. The alternating on/off effect scattered throughout the yard was very striking. However, they died after 2 seasons of use. This year, since all of the other outdoor Christmas lights I have are multi-colored, I decided to get the color-changing multi-colored lawn lights as a replacement. I like them just fine, but I do find that the color transition is so slow and smooth that unless you sit there and look for it, you probably won't notice the lights changing color. Certainly no one driving by will ever notice it. To a passer-by, the lights just look like static colored lights. As such, I would recommend the white blinking variety over the multi-colored or any of the static varieties. Still, lawn light provide a lot of Christmas light bang for a relatively small amount of money and a very small amount of work.

I would love nothing more than for them to produce a multicolored string that blinks on an off. I would buy that in a heartbeat. Ok, I'd probably think about it some, but I think I'd buckle and buy it.

Photo in Ad is very deceiving product 36-08

I guess I didn't read the Description well enough, and judged by the Photo in the ad.

This product is about 150 foot long string, but ONLY has 36 LED lights.

I was expecting as Many Lights as seen in the Photo ad.

But I will say these Multi-Color Lights are good Quality.

To Make it Look Like the Photo, I'll need two more Strings.

Too Bad there is no End to End Connectivity.

So you'll need an Outlet for Each String.

Are they worth the Price? No, I think the Value is worth about Half the price Charged.
36 LED lights, and the electric wire ... Plus you Do Get Stakes and a Reel..

But still not worth the Price charged.
