Design competition taking place in Tokyo Midtown Fujiyama Glass (Fuji Glass) is a "Tokyo Midtown Award 2008", Suzuki Keita, who designed this glass, Special Jury than Manabu Mizuno's art director who served as a judge the award-winning, and has been commercialized from Sugawara art glass. I am represented by a glass figure of Mount Fuji which can be called the symbol of Japan. The great thing about this glass, and golden bubbles stand out look of Fuji variety appears by drink pouring, and pour the beer in particular, I direct effectively the appearance of beautiful Fuji illuminated in the morning sun at all. Gorgeous glass. I also absolutely loved the packaging

This turned out to be a great gift for someone who had been to Japan and climbed Mt.Fuji but still couldn't find a nice souvenir to take home, as everything sold there seemed like a cheap junk for tourists

These glasses are very kool, however, the western mind probably thinks of a much larger vessel when it comes to beer glasses.

I saw a documentary on NHK WORLD about the design, development, and production of these glasses. Very interesting and it convinced me to get a couple.

Again, size may be an issue for some but the glass itself is a good example of Japanese product design and attention to detail. Glad I bought them!

I was just gonna let this slide by, and then I read the product description. I can help not but purchasing and buy the glass with and beer with glee. This simple and high item of a quality which is not done too much is produced. I relish the fresh drinking feelings by keeping beautiful compared with past vessel. Is required by time of about 500 years to decompose the red solo cup. By using Fujisan glass have lessened plastic garbage and participated in saving of world. Believe a delicious comes down the mountain.
