Optional Battery Power Kit available for use without an outlet. Includes infrared Remote Control (with 3 X AAA batteries), Wall Adaptor with 12 ft. cord, wall brackets and mounting hardware. Holds up to 20 lbs. of draperies. Can be used with roller clips (included) or pin hooks (sold separately) for use with pinch pleat panels.Kindly follow the below instructions. · Verify the sensor attached to the motor is visible and within 25 foot range of the remote. · Verify the remote lights up and batteries are new. · Verify the plug outlet is still in working condition. · Verify the Rod Set Screw (letter M on the installation guide) is tightly screwed. Shown in step 8 on the attached installation instructions. Verify the center bracket is not too high and the rod is leveled. If the center bracket is too high, it misaligns the rods creating a possible hiccup in the pulley system

Extremely complicated to attach the motor to the rod. Once installed motor did not work. Product look like it was refurbished and worked like it as well with scratches throughout. Motor did not work and already had scratches on it. Missing curtain attachments. Such an inconvenience and unnecasssary holes in my wall since it did not work.

These work so wonderfully, we wish we had got them earlier! We never considered automating our curtains because we assumed they were too expensive. But these were cost effective and work great. Period!

I am thrilled with this purchase. I was able to integrate the system into Alexa and can can control the drapes via voice command. I little background ... I received today and installed. The install was very easy. Install the motor (I had a bit of difficulty with snapping it into place, but probably was me and I finally got it). Measure and mark where you want the brackets to go. Screw 3 brackets to the studs, attach the rod, adjust the distance of the rod from the wall. I am having some problems understanding how to adjust the center close - it pushes the right drape further right than it should when it closes. I don't understand completely the instructions on adjusting the screws, but it is no big deal. I then integrated the IR controls into my global cache wifi2ir. Do not use the codes on the beme site. Here are the correct codes:

I control my global cache via homeseer. I created a virtual on off and dim device in homeseer and told alexa to discover devices. She found the new device and I can open the drapes by saying Alexa turn on the drapes, and close them by saying Alexa turn off the drapes. Very cool, will now automate open and closing with sunrise and sunset. I am also going to purchase one for my large picture window, Very inexpensive solution. I already had the technology to integrate it into Alexa, just needed an IR controlled rod and this one fit the build.

Also not even opening. One side is always off centered from the other. Functionally fine, aesthetically meh.

It works alright, but one of the two units ordered has a buzzing in the power supply - it functions, but the buzzing is disconcerting. The only option, apparently, was to send the whole unit back for replacement, but the unit was already mounted, and it is only the power supply that is not up to par. Update - after the return period expired one of the two units I got failed to work at all (the one that buzzed), so if you hear buzzing, send it back right away! Update #2 - Even though it was past the return date, I wrote to customer service and told them what had happened. They immediately (within a couple hours) ordered a replacement at no cost.

this works great you can plug it into a smart plug and have Alexa control it I also have the BOND and have been informed that they are working on an update so it will control curtain rods also. looking forward to that
