I bought this out of impulse to see if it really worked. I've owned this light for about a month and it's still running strong. The two LED's bulbs are bright enough for urban settings but the light is definitively not as strong as a high output rear lights. I tend to procrastinate changing batteries so for me, the prospect of never changing batteries outweighs the lower output.

Installation is comparable to other lights, you will need a phillilps screw driver to install and will be on in two minutes.

One thing I was surprised of when I purchased the light is its dimensions: Its about 2.75in x 2.25in. I misread the solar panel dimensions listed on the product details as the overall dimensions. The light itself does not seem bulky but for those seeking sleek small lights this is not your product. The larger size is also a little bit of a nuisance since I do take the light off my bike when leaving it on the street.

The biggest con of this product that is specific to my use is that the on/off button requires little pressure to activate. This makes is easier to when using while on the bike but this also gives it a tendency of turning on inside your pocket, which worst case will leave you with a blinking red light in your pants.

Got this light and there was a small hole in the package which allowed dust in and it did leave some scuffing on the collector. However, with a little compound and some wax looked like new. The brackets on these things are very thin so don't over tighten. I mounted mine on under the seat between the two seat stays. It's bright and worked right out of the package. This is the second one I have purchased and they seem to be annoying enough for motorist to see you well enough. Would have given it 5 stars but for the dust in the package that made me work when I shouldn't have.

I have used this on several rides and so far it has worked well. The light, in flashing mode, worked well during my ~45 minute ride. Other than, attaching it to by bike, I have not had to place the unit out in the sun to charge it up. The ability of the holder to position the light in a certain position seems a little weak but I have not had any problems so far. The light has stayed in the position I left it in during my ride. The good thing about this unit is I don't have to worry about batteries discharging and purchasing new ones. I do carry a secondary back light in case the charge runs out. So far, this hasn't happen. I would buy it again and was thinking of buying a second one for my other bike.

It's nice. It's bright and noticable. Only downside is after a long, long time, say 2 weeks, of sunlight it starts to lose the ability to hold a charge and get dim after a hour of riding. So the battery isn't the best but it does work. Try to not leave it out in the sun too much.

I really like this light! Especially knowing that I will never have to worry about batteries getting drained. The button underneath is easy enough to press by hand, while difficult enough to prevent accidental presses during your ride. I have this mounted under the seat and above the seat bag, easy enough!

The red light took a while to arrive, but it was very well packaged, it charged fast, about 2 hours, easy to attach to the back of my scooter and it works great! It has 2 blinking modes, and 1 solid light mode. I would recommend for small scooters and bicycles. No fuss, no hassle, no battery or cables. Great Idea at work.

This was a great purchase for my road bike that had no lights on it prior. Its cheap and actually gets a good amount of sunlight even being under the seat. The attachment is easy to install and durable enough. The only downside is the location of the button underneath the light but it is still easy to reach. It has a fast blink, medium blink and always on setting. Great for the price.

Works great and will last a two hour bike ride at night. Could be brighter, but I use this with another blinkie and this is my backup in case the battery expires on the other. Cheap, I bought three to put on all my bikes!

Excellent little light, works perfectly out of the box. Time will tell if it will survive, but my first impression is that it's at least as good as lights costing 2~3x.
