THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SAFE............BUYER BEWAREby Joshua Garfinkle (1 out of 5 stars)

Joshua Garfinkle: These pots look beautiful but they are not, and a serious safety concern underlies their poor construction. These pots are made of something that feels like 20 layers of aluminum foil, I think if I pushed on both sides I could bend this pot. This is the least of my concerns as there are two major and potentially dangerous safety concerns. The first time I used the large pot, I put in my water, boiled my pasta then went to remove it from the stove. The handle came off in my hand sending a cascade of boiling water within inches of my dog (thank goodness my kids were not in the room, and thank goodness it did not land on me). After this happened I examined the construction and there is nothing holding the handles on but a pressure fit plug. The second time I used these I used the smaller one, and decided to try out the strainer lid. I made sure the lid was in the grooves and "locked" in place, and tipped over the pot, well the water came out, the top came off and my pasta went everywhere. The groove the lid fits in is of such poor construction and fit the lid cannot possibly stay on. Buyer Beware this item should be recalled.
Junk: plastic handles TOO HOT TO HANDLE!

The whole reason I got these is to be able strain pasta using its integrated lid.
I first tried out the small one on the big burner. Put the burner on high to boil the water.
THEN I SMELLED BURNING PLASTIC. YIKES! (MY BAD: bad idea putting the small pot on the big burner).
So, then I tried the big pot.
At least it didn't smell like burning plastic, but it was too hot to hold without my silicon pot holding gloves. This defeats my expected convenience.
Stainless with rust spots?

Dear Sir, I actually like the design and the concept. BUT, after I had used the larger pan a few times it developed what look like rust spots on the bottom. The pan is supposed to be stainless and not rust?? What happened? What can I do to make them go away? If I have to live with this, I think you should insist on more quality control, from the manufacturer. So that your next customer doesn't have the same experience! Thank you, Patricia Allosso

The lid does not go on or come off very well at all when using for the intended purpose! That would be cooking pasta! They did not design it to work after the metal heats up and expands. Don't buy this product!
Stainless is the way to go

I had the previous red version but the coatings chipped off. These are for camping and are great.
The lids are not manufactured as nicely as the previous red version and the closing tabs had to be adjusted to make them fit.
The metal in the lids is light, and bends easily so they aren't that strong.
Overall these are a great tool for making pasta or boiling vegetables while camping.
Great pots!

This set is perfect for the two of us. Light weight, lids fit snug when pouring out juices and easy clean. We have a much older set for home and just bought our second set for the vacation home. Use them often. If you are a fast, high heat cooker, or cook in large quantities you may want to use something else.

Shirts fit as expected. I haven't received the chop sticks and parchment paper yet so can't evaluate them. The fat separator is average and the pasta cooker set is more flimsy than I thought it would be.
The lids come off too easily and I think they're dangerous

The lids come off too easily and I think they're dangerous. The pins come out that is suppose to lock the lid on the pans. I hold my lids on with pot holders. I would not buy these again because of the cheap way they are designed. I will go back to the more expensive pot I use to get.
So so...

Pots are very thin/light. Handles on both sides, as opposed to a long handle on one side, expose your hands to hot steam. I would not purchase these again. I had a pasta pot previously with a locking lid and a long handle on one side which I loved. Was not able to find that style so I tried this.

My wife likes it, she uses it and it makes her happy and therefor makes me happy. She says this is just the right sizes for making pasta and boiling potatoes for us and when the kids come over. She was happy I got it for her, she loves it and uses it. This allows me to not get nagged ok enough said.
