Smell is too strong

The pen looks very nice and expensive, however, the smell is really strong. I could barely sniff it for long because of the smell. It smells like a mixture of coffee and sweet chocolate together. It's not the smell of coffee shops, but it's kind of like a smell of coffee candies.

Somehow it leaked and there was a coffee scent all over my stuff. I love the pen, not sure what interacted with it, as the container it came in was very well sealed.
