Some pro's and con's ...by RDK (4 out of 5 stars)

This is certainly one of the more amusing toy copters in its price range -- and can be fun to fly with a little practice (a little more than most other 3 channel jobs)
Does shoot out a nice stream -- but be advised your first use will probably require a little "priming" -- much like a spray bottle that has to be pumped a few times before it sprays. I thought it was a dud until I kept trying for about 20 seconds.
The heli's fly time is indeed about 8 minutes which, all things considered, is not bad -- and comparable to others. It is carrying a little extra weight after all.
Charge time seemed remarkably fast -- about 20 minutes from a USB port. This may or may not be a good thing -- as a fast charge might result in shortened battery life.
The trim control (a double button) is my main gripe -- it trims slowly and is a bit more awkward than a rotary knob.
It has an acceleration boost -- but this seems only effective in forward thrust. Rear movement is always slower than forward.
Turns nimbly and is quite stable.
Lights can be turned on or off -- not sure how much this affects flying time -- didn't really seem like much.
The squirt button could be better placed but just takes some getting used to.
Seems well built and I expect durability to be on the good side. Battery durability is going to be a big question mark, but time will have to tell.
PS: do not be misled by the instructions which tell you to set both the copter and the controller to the same frequency. There is no frequency selection on the copter that I could see (which if you've flown toy copters before you probably know) -- the sync will occur automatically when both the controller and the copter are turned on. I had no trouble syncing in band A.

I remember buying a Blade CX2 RTF holicopter back in 2007 with extra batteries, charger, and god knows how many blades. I spent more time fixing that pos machine then actually flying and no matter what I did, it NEVER hovered! It would be a miracle if it had stayed like 30 seconds in air and the blades keep braking so I had to keep fixing it, I just didn't like to give-up. It broke its by every little thing. Sometime the blades just hit themselves and broke apart! But after spending $700 (copter costed me $300 from nearby hobby shop back then), I gave up. I saw this heli last year, but nightmares of previous tries in hobby kept me away. I finally decided to buy this machine thinking hey, worse case I loose $30 tight???. So here I go again, put the batteries in and went for the ride thinking I might have gotten a junk.. But oh wow! I mean wow wow wow! The heli flew effortlessly on first flight (no special remote procedures, just turn on the remote, then the copter, then slowly push the left stick up and it flies)! I just left it to hover and it just stayed in the air while I stared it (of course did easy trimming from the remote). But wow, for freaking $30! And the Blade CX2 RTF holicopter still costs over $130! Man DO NOT WAIT, go and BUY this baby!
Only one problem: very short (8 min) battery life

I can't describe how happy I was, like an 8-year-old, when I took this thing out of the box and started flying it. I'd always wanted a remote control helicopter and was amazed and surprised how easy this is to fly. Even more fun than a Vertibird, the previous champion in my toy world.
In the Aerodynamics and Fun categories, this bad boy goes to 11. But it has one serious drawback. I've been flying it for only a few days and the battery life is already down to 8 minutes. (I'm talking about the battery in the actual helicopter unit; the controller is powered by six AA batteries.)
I thought maybe Einstein's Theory of Relativity was at play here -- and that the battery life just SEEMED short. So I flew it last night until the battery was completely drained, charge it overnight, flew it again this morning, and timed it: 8 minutes total flight time before the battery died again.
OK, there's an upside: I might actually get some work done. Because if it flew for hours...well, it would fly for hours. Still, 8 minutes? I'm barely getting warmed up by then.
***UPDATE (six months later): I've now bought and flown four different remote control helicopters (both radio and IR) and can confidently say that they are all a blast to fly, but that Syma makes the most durable models.
Fun Helo - Minus 1 since I had to 'fix' pump

This works as well as the S107G (also a great helo, but from another company).
This one seems a tad less stable then the S107G, but seems to have a bit more power.
I am writing near identical reviews for the V757 and the V319 since both seem to perform the same.
I like this helo, nice lights, fun to fly.
Gives me 7 minutes or so of mind clearing fun.
V319 Specific:
I am taking 1 star off because the first one I received had a good water pump, but did not fly right.
Returned it and the replacement flew great, but the water pump did not work.
After trying to get the water pump to work by running it for close to 10 minutes I decided to disassemble it.
I removed the tube from the pump and then put it back together.
I did not see anything wrong, but it worked fine after I put it together.
If you have kids then taking the pump apart might be fun to see how it works.
Remove the small screw on the part that spins (the screw holds the moter's shaft in place) and you can see that the same tube that enters the pump goes though the pump then and leave the pump. That is, the pump works by compressing the tube to draw in the water. But do so at your own risk.
One of the best indoor Helis within $20.

This is one of the best indoor helicopters I've flown and so far one of the most fun! It's easy to use and very inexpensive compared to others of the same quality. The helicopter is accurate enough to land on a stool and lasts long enough for the charge time to be worth it.
My V319 came with instructions, a controller, a USB charger, The helicopter itself, and some spare blades. My Heli is blue, whereas the picture of the product is red. The description does say that color may vary. The heli charges in about 45 minutes for me with the USB charger, which has a light indicating when it's done. This will always charge the battery of the helicopter fully when allowed to finish. The controller is capable of charging the helicopter but unless you want to spend a ton on new batteries as well as VERY QUICKLY RUIN YOUR HELICOPTER BATTERY by giving it progressively lower and lower charges, I would advise against using it while the USB functions.
The flight times on indoor helicopters vary considerably with how they are flown, the payload they are carrying, and what other devices draw off of the battery, basically everything. An average flight time seems to be about 4 minutes. If you back off the power too quickly and have to save the helicopter by using much more to compensate for the fall and catch it, the flight time goes down. The more you use the water gun, the more drains from the battery and the flight time goes down. The less aggressively you move the helicopter, the less you have to save it from falls, and the less you use the water gun (and fill the tank), the longer the flight time. I've flown aggressively and emptied the tank on the same flight for a shorter flight of about 3.5 minutes, while flying more carefully and without using the water gun I've managed 7 minute flights. I always turn off the lights on the front.
good quality metal framed copter just wasn't pleased with water ...

good quality metal framed copter just wasn't pleased with water cannon although I had planned on removing it anyways to install 600mAh battery in its place to increase fly time substantially over the factory 100mAh battery but I had wanted to try water cannon on someone but it wouldn't work right out of box. still giving it a thumbs up though since I had intended to remove water cannon anyways since the copter was designed to carry the extra weight of water cannon and its payload of water the replacement of cannon with higher capacity lipo battery was great being even lighter with upgraded battery and even more maneuverable with cannon off

i've had this thing only three days so i'm no expert at this thing but i will say that the short time i've had it it's been a blast.. hard to get used to the controls, not because they're faulty but because you have to get one thumb to go one way while the other thumb goes the another.. (sort of like rubbing your belly and tapping your head at the same time.. ;) the thing is rugged, cause believe me, i've crashed and burned Many times and this thing still keeps going.. it's flying time is around 10-12 minutes, depending on crashes.. there's different color lights that go on and off that make it look cool flying but if you turn those off you can get a couple more minutes flying time.. and the squirter is So cool.. sprays a good long way and can make a group of people who are saying, "wow that's cool", to a group of people laughing they're butts off cause you just sprayed somebody in the face.. yes i'd reccommend this to about anybody.. age wise?? if they can play video games i Think they could fly one of these..
Amazing for the price

As a hobbiest RC helicopter pilot I have a decent fleet of helicopters from micro to my trex 450. I had never actually bought cheap toy RC helicopter before but i wanted one to fly around at work and play with that could shoot some projectile so I bought this one. I was pleasantly surprised at how close to trimmed it was out of the box, and it is still stable between when the water is full and when it is empty. The only annoying part of it is that being 3 channel there is no sideways movement, you have to rotate and then move forward. This wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't so used to having that axis, but I knew it was 3ch when I bought it so I can't take a star for that!
This is a fun helicopter. Easy to fly

This is a fun helicopter. Easy to fly, and the water canon feature really works! I spent the day chasing the wife and dogs around the house.
The wife's initial reaction to the chopper was, "Oh, look at the pretty flashing lights!" - whereupon she got hosed.
My big dog used to chase the other helicopters, but not this one! Now he loves to run in circles barking, jumping and trying to catch the water while the chopper chases him.
Fun for the whole family!

My Son and I have Both crashed this helicopter numerous times.. more than I can ever count.. and it still flies as if it were new.. I Highly recommend it.. I would buy it again in a heart beat.. And it shoots water like a champ.. hes been irritating all of us by shooting water at us.. I was thinking of getting one for myself so we could have an all out air battle.. heheh.. knowing it can crash a million times (so it seems) and still keep going makes it such a fun toy and an excellent Buy.. I highly recommend! !!!. PS I was Very pleasantly pleased that it came with 2 extra large blades and 2 small ones to fix any broken ones.. Huge value for the $$$$$.. a definite BUY!!!!
