We bought this cooler to bring home 28 packs of fish from Fla. We travelled over 1,000 miles and 1 night in a hotel. We had it plugged in the car and bought the adapter for plugging it in an outlet. Wish that had come w/the cooler, but it does not. When we arrived home the fish was frozen 100% and even the cold packs we put in there to be sure, were 100% frozen. When we arrived home we discovered our frig had broken. So we had our neighbor store the fish to give us room and we used the cooler as a frig for 5 days till the frig was fixed....Boy, that cooler saved us from running around trying to get a frig together so fast. We feel smug having it in case of an emergency and for travel. Also we have some really good grocery stores, (Trader Joes, Whole Foods) by our relatives 90 mins away. When we visit we will hit the stores , put the food in our cooler , visit and go home! I also love the two ways of laying it one way to look like a standard cooler. The other way, looks like a mini frig. This is one of my favorite buys in a long time!

Power cord colors mislabeled

The power cord on my newly purchased cooler is mislabeled. Blue to blue should be cooling and red to red is supposed to be heating. I plugged in the cooler blue to blue and took cream pies to a picnic. They were all melted when I served the pies. I tested the red to red setting when I got home and sure enough, it cooled the items. Frustrating!

Pro.

It works without ice.

even you put in your lunch, it does not leak smell of food in your car.

comes with cool and warm setting.

Con.

Door constantly falling off.

Fan can be noticeably noisy depends on where you put this cooler.

Takes awhile to either cool it down or warm it up to certain degree.

Once you turn off car engine, it goes off as well and does not maintain temperature well enough especially if you parked your car in open space during hot day.

After few uses, fan started to causing problem such as stop spinning once in awhile.

Works OK if the temp outside is not over 80 degrees. If you place a couple of ice packs in while you are using it it helps. Will freeze liquid if outside temp is below 50 degrees. Have not tried the hot function but am sure it will work just like the cold function only reverse.

Works super well for an over-the-road driver. Does not use a huge amount of space, especially for the food you can carry using this cooler that you would not be able to keep otherwise.

Its good if you are driving home with groceries, its useless if you are living out of your van. I does not regulate temps, and with serve to cool food a little. Actually function varies but external temp, but on 90 degree days its more of a SourChill. If you plan on needing a frig long term, get something else. Also the fan is kind of loud.

Love this refrigerator. Perfect for vacation or to just keep in car to keep drinks for kids so we don't always have to stop to a fast-food place just for a drink. It saves money on drinks for sure. Works very well. With convertor, you can take it inside also. Perfect for when you rent a camping cabin that doesn't have a refrig.

faulty plug in

This was a wedding gift, the first time the couple used the cooler was there honeymoon. They said that the cord would not stay plugged in. They had to constantly re plug the cooler in to try and keep their food cold. I recommend taking the cooler out of the box and trying it first. We didn't and now can not return. And do not know how to get a hold of the seller to return for a new one.

IM SO SORRY! I really wanted this to work but very sadly it did not ! Left it plugged in for days and it never cooled down! Apperrently this is just an issue with this item? It's hit and miss? Not sure but I am so disappointed!! Returned it!
