Sheldon Knows Bestby Chriselle V (5 out of 5 stars)

I saw a folding device similar to this one being used by the TV character Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory" and it sparked my inner neat freak. It's quick and easy to use with simple instructions provided. The uniformity provided when folding tees and the gentle compressing of the clothing definitely helps to maximize storage in my dresser drawers. My drawers are shallow, so I hand-folded the tees one more time in order to "file" them. I've posted pictures of my husband's size XL tees neatly folded (most which I think are ratty and I would love to toss instead of fold); a drawer with his thick thermals and flannel p.j. pants; and a drawer of ladies' size L and XL tees to show as examples. Anything is an improvement over the clothes that were literally stuffed willy nilly into the dresser. UPDATE FEB 2017: still using this folding device weekly to fold laundry and it's holding up well!
He can now fold his shirts and although that might not seem like a big deal

Bought for my Austic son and he loves. He can now fold his shirts and although that might not seem like a big deal, to a person with disabilities, but to them, it is everything!

The shirt folder is very durable--even after many uses, I don't think it will break. It folds into a squares, so it is easier to store than other models.
So super simple to use.

GREAT GIFT IDEA FOR ANYONE WITH HAND GRIP, COORDINATION, OR PAIN ISSUES!
I have carpal tunnel, de Quervain's, trigger thumbs, multiple finger dislocations, etc. Before getting this device I dreaded laundry days. I had the choice between the home aide's sloppy, heavily wrinkled folding (first two photos), or my own slow, arduous folding that would leave me in so much pain that I would be unable to sleep for at least a night.
I just started using this wonderful device today. I only need to grip the shirt to lay it down and fold up the bottom. The rest of the time I can slide my flat palms under each section and flip using my forearms, even using my forearms to pickup the lightweight device and tilt it so the newly folded shirt slides right onto the top of the stack. I've refolded more than forty shirts so far--the most folding I've been able to do at one time in more than a decade! I can't even begin to explain how much joy a tool that helps me to become more independent makes me! (I'm not normally an exclamation point, capital letters kinda gal)
What I wanted to know before I purchased

This is a high quality bath or shower mat (something you stand on to catch drips and keep your feet warm while you towel dry.) It is 100% cotton. It does not have a non-slip backing, which is exactly what I wanted. This is not a rug. It is meant for frequent laundering. They are manufactured in Turkey and distributed by Amazon Fulfillment Services, Inc. of Seattle, Washington, USA. The web site is listed as [...], which is an amazon brand. The label says to avoid bleach and fabric softener.
After close inspection of the seam bindings and weaving, I washed two new white mats with other high-quality towels in a high-efficiency washer on warm (instructions say cold water wash, warm dry) and tumble dried them on warm in a sensor-equiped dryer. They were very slightly damp after the cycle was completed, although all of the other towels were dry. I measured both mats after they were entirely dry, finding they are approximately 5/16-inch thick, and weigh 1 pound 1 ΒΌ ounces and are 31 inches long and 20 inches wide. They showed no measurable shrinkage, minimal linting, and the hems were still stitched properly. I never use any fabric softener, and these were soft and thirsty after washing.
It is a little shorter, but it is thicker than all other mats I have purchased. The shorter length is good in a tight 1960 shower bathroom. They are labeled as Flammable, meaning they will burn, which is to be expected for 100% cotton, so don't hang these near an open space heater.
I should say that I live near the Gulf Coast, a very warm and humid environment. Mold and mildew grow rapidly. We squeegee and towel dry the bathroom after showering and then promptly wash and dry the towels and mats. Leaving wet towels and mats to air-dry in the bathroom is an expensive proposition due to extra air-conditioning costs and cleaning costs. I'll try to remember to update this review after I have washed these about 50 times. I expect them to last as long or longer than any other mat or towel.
Update August 5, 2014
I am ordering two more of these today. The two I have already purchased are still in excellent shape after many wash/dry cycles, with no measurable shrinkage or loss of lint. All subsequent drying after the first has resulted in completely dry bath mats, so I don't know why the first drying in the dryer was incomplete (as I reported above.) I have no idea why some reviews have any negative things to say about these, as they are excellent. Just remember:
1. No anti-slip coating. Mats can be used with either side up.
2. The size is perfect for a bath or shower mat.
3. This is not a rug.
I have laundered these (white only) with both peroxide and chlorine bleaches to no ill effect, contrary to the label. I would not do this with any other color than white, and even then only when absolutely necessary.

Breaks with Normal Use after some time
by Zachary Machold (1 out of 5 stars)

I absolutely loved this piece of equipment until it broke 3 MONTHS after purchasing it. I tried contacting the company and there isn't a number to call them or an email to email them. You have to fill out this form which I did hoping they would get back to me so I could explain my situation. They never responded. That was over a month ago and I'm very angry. I hate folding shirts and this was my life savior until one of the pieces snapped right off in a normal fold. DO NOT buy this product if you don't want to be buying a new one every 3-6 months. I wish I could get my money back for this but its to late now and its broken. At this point, I would have been better off getting a cardboard box and making a Miracle Folder myself.
Great Flip Fold in Emergency Vehicle Orange
by Harwood (5 out of 5 stars)

You won't loose this flip fold in your closet with it's bright orange color. I bought two for Christmas gifts and both recipients were happy with the folders. Once you get used to using a flip fold, you grab for it every time you fold laundry. The flip folded shirts have less wrinkles and stack much better in a drawer or on a shelf. This is also great for folding clothing to pack in a suitcase. I get so much more in when I use my folding board. Men with a technical mind seem to like this, too. My engineer husband now uses it when he helps with folding and I think it's because he likes the perfectly folded finished product. Whatever the reason, he likes to fold laundry more now! I recommend buying a MiracleFold because this is one of those tools that makes your life a little easier.
I'd like to note that it would be very easy to add a strip of colored duct tape to reinforce all the fold lines for those who are worried about the sturdiness of the board. One wish I do have is for a slightly smaller flip fold for women's and children's clothing. I use a less sturdy flip fold that I made from Dollar Store foam core board and duct tape per instructions on the web and it produces a smaller rectangle that works better for my women's t-shirts.
Folding Clothes

This is a funny devise that I saw on 'Big Bang Theory'. Sheldon was using it in the laundry room. It looked fun so I bought this one. I just love this silly thing. One trick I learned is some shirts are bigger than the folding device. If you place the shirt normally, then carefully fold in the arms and tails to be inside the fold machine, you're shirt will be perfect. And fold other clothes as well. You will need a large area, like your kitchen table or such. Once you get the hang of it, folding gets to be fun, but a science as well. HA!
