I can't give it more than three stars because the lava just sort of sits at the bottom. I followed the instructions about letting the orange balls sit for a certain amount of time before turning on the bubbler, but they just sit at the bottom. It makes a nice night light for my son though.

Easy to get set up. Looks really neat when the room is dark and the volcano is in motion! The dish soap in the water is a must to keep it functioning properly. Very neat item, son loved it.

What is up with the red glow all around the little ball thingies? It's really just about 20 little plastic balls that MAYBE make it out of the top of the volcano and varying lackadaisical rates. This was very disappointing to my 7 yr old whom decide this was the only thing he wanted from Santa. Now we get maybe only one or two balls exploding through the volcano.
