The Cat's Trapeze offers kittens and active cats the perfect place to play and rest. The unique suspended design is attractive to active cats, challenging them to climb and play while drawing their attention away from curtains and furniture. The large soft cushions also provide a cozy place for a catnap. (Stuffing is NOT included.) The trapeze can be stuffed with various items such as throw pillows, old towels, recycled clothes or crumpled newspapers placed inside a pillowcase. The Triple Cushion Cat's Trapeze is approximately 4.5 feet, not including the hammock. Top cushion: 20" diameter. Two bottom cushions: 24" diameter.

Don't believe the hype! I researched the heck out of this thing before buying it, and ALL the reviews claimed that the cat would eventually love the trapeze, though it might take some getting used to. First, it sways uncontrollably. So, I tried every trick mentioned in positive reviews: tacking it so it doesn't sway as much; hanging it high; hanging it low; dousing it in catnip. I finally pawned it off to other cat owners and they also had no luck. Out of a total of 12 cats, not ONE would touch it. I'm now quite convinced that all those positive reviews I read were written by the manufacturer.

I really liked the design of this product, as it looks much cleaner/nicer than the traditional cat tower. Unfortunately, my cats could never get used to the swinging and always immediately jumped off of it. The fabric was a bit different than I imagined, and was not at all easy for the cats to jump onto. The product was high quality, I just couldn't get my cats to buy into it.

Cat's Trapeze

We have one cat we introduced the trapeze to when she was a kitten. It is her favorite place to climb, play and sleep. Our adult cats were leery about the movement thus we hung it next to a window using a wall bracket so it rests against the wall and touches the floor. That really reduced the movement. We slowly introduced it to them using play, attaching favorite toys and putting some catnip on it. Now they enjoy it and like to look out the window while lounging on it. Being able to machine wash it is a huge bonus! It is well made with a sturdy cotton material.

had it for about two years and out of 17 cats NONE will use it.. but it hangs and collects dust and their fur!
