What did I spend my money on?by Rex (1 out of 5 stars)

What a Joke! For $22.00 you receive about $4.00 worth of salt, Citric Acid and a cheap thermometer! And the included instructions are cryptic at best and very different from what
you will find on You Tube Videos. I generally don't slam items sold on Amazon but this one made me feel taken advantage of by this group. Do yourself a favor and watch a couple of You Tube videos and everything in the kit is available at your local grocery store.
What a let down

After spending an additional $20 on goats milk, it was so disappointing when this cheese never formed up at all. It was too thin to catch when straining through the cheese cloth provided. I tried contacting this company via Facebook and they said they would email/message me but never did. Won't waste this money again. Home brewing was much more fruitful.
Tragic flaw

Everything went OK until I got to the part where I was supposed to pour the curdled milk into a bowl lined with the provided dish towel. The directions called for a gallon of goats milk. I used my largest bowl to accommodate the full gallon. The dish towel was long enough, but it was very narrow. Trying to fit a gallon of curdled milk into a long narrow cloth didn't work so well. The milk ran out of the sides of the towel. I ended up with a towel with a very thin coating of curds sitting in a a bowl filled with the curds and whey mixture. The kit cost $28. I think the goats milk cost about $24 (it's expensive!). So for $52 and about 40 minutes of my time, I pretty much just ended up with a mess. A much larger dishtowel is needed.
