Tight at the calves...and heart...

As is frequently the case with novelty knee socks, I found them a bit tight and non-stretchy above the ankle (and I don't have particularly large calves or anything...but these make me wonder, haha). If you're self-conscious about your calves, skip these and go for ankle-socks...no one needs socks making them feel fat.

I am a size 8, and I found these socks a bit snug. Additionally, I wish they were actually knee-high. I have some mid-calf boots, and purchased these with the hope the windows would show above the top of the boot. They don't, b/c they stop a good 3-4 inches below my knee. That said, they're still TARDIS socks, so they're pretty cool.

My friend of 11 years is a huge Doctor Who fan! She's also a member of the United States Air Force. Since this limits the types of gifts I can currently give to her that would be of use, these socks were perfect. She loved them and looks forward to wearing them often.

Bought these awesome socks for my wife as a gift since she is both a huge fan of The Doctor and funky socks, and she adores these. They are think and comfy she states and more than warm. Wouldnt advise wearing on a warm summer day but perfect for cold snuggily months.

The graphic was cute and what I expected. Thought the socks were a little too tall and a bit too tight at the top. Material was not the best but if you are a Dr. Who fan they are fun to wear

Even though my daughter's tiny feet are dwarfed in the foot area, the tube socks go up her thin legs fine and look so cute. I can see why other reviewers said it didn't fit adult legs, but for a child, these were snug and fit fine.

I'm slowly becoming a huge Whovian and these socks totally rock. I do have huge calves so it does fit a bit tight at the top for me but I'm sure they fit nicely on someone with smaller calves.

Being Dr. Who fans, these socks seemed a good choice for something extra for our 14 year old daughter. Her calves are slim, with nicely defined musculature. Holds up well in washes without fading or shrinking.
