Fun novelty for golfers

Bought this for my husband as a birthday present and he loves it! It floats very well and has held up for the past few months. Just keep in mind, this is something to use for fun as a novelty or maybe a game for your backyard bbq's... it's not something that's geared towards improving your chipping on the links! The balls are plastic and have velcro strips, so they definitely hit differently than a real golf ball. But that being said, it's easy to set up and is really fun to play :)

I bought this as a gift. The idea is great but the product isn't. It is foam and turf glued on. Within an hour the water was creeping up onto the mat. The flags are silly and there is no actual hole, just a ring you place as one. All of the ping pong balls are covered in velcro. I think it would be nice to have both that do stick and those that don't especially for the price of $43. The 2nd time we brought the set out the turf ( more like felt) had separated and we had to hot glue it back together...which worked, but again we only used it once before. I would look for a similar product maybe by a different brand.

Here is the description: Play a round of golf in your swimming pool or backyard with the ultimate Aqua Golf Backyard Golf Game. Chip onto our floating island green with our 12 hook and loop golf balls. Tee up your shot on the 1 ft x 2 ft chipping mat and aim for one of two flags and cups on the floating green. Practice balls come in two colors for competitive play. Floating green dimensions: 32" x 45".

My box came with only 10 balls in 3 different colors. Very cheap quality for the price. Do not waste your money although in theory this is a great gift.

Nice quality mat, and much nicer than a similar product I purchased last year. The Velcro balls really stick tight on contact, but sadly in the first use the Velcro rings started to pop off the plastic balls. Overall, we are using this and like the quality of the product, despite this issue with that balls. The Velcro can be put back on, but does continue to pop off with use. ... updating this review... the vecro does not stay on the balls so basically it isn't usable any more. Also the surface green is pulling off of the foam.

The plastic balls that came with this broke and the velcro was coming off of them. I can't find any replacement balls for this. So don't lose the balls or break them then you will be ok. I don't see this having longevity at all.

This game is a great idea. When my teens first started playing it, they loved it. After 20 minutes of use, the velcro came off the majority of the golf balls. The game just won't work without the velcro. Disappointing! This could have been so great!

Lasted only 10 minutes, do not buy

We had it no longer than 10 minutes in our pool and it came apart. The glue washed away with it. You cannot buy extra balls at time of purchase or after. I called the manufacturer when I was placing the order but they do not sell them nor can you buy them on line from any other vendor. They don't exist so you would have to make your own. It was a good idea, only wished the manufacturer put more quality and thought into it. We did enjoy the 10 minutes we had.

We purchased the Blue Wave Aqua Golf Backyard Game spontainiously for a back yard cookout where we had invited people who we know play golf. We are not golfers so we thought this would be a ice breaker. Not only did it become unglued due to the heat but no one thought it was interesting or played with it. It was a waste of money.

Have had for an entire spring,summer and fall. Stays afloat in the pool. Great purchase. This has been a really fun item to have in the back yard.
