This Pocket Rescue Tool is simplest, most-effective way to be prepared for emergency situations. It is the size of a credit card and fits easily into any wallet. Each tool offers a variety of tools for anything you could possibly think of and a section of nylon cord wrapped around it for emergency use. It also features a laser etch of the morse code of SOS and HELP in case you need to signal for rescue. Each PRT also includes a waterproof carrying case with a double-sealing closure and a durable nylon neck lanyard. For the most part, a lot of the functions do work except the string cutter (the V notch on the right side under the 1 inch ruler), and also the wire strippers dont really do a good job as well. Another con about it is that, for all of the metric users, there is not centimeter ruler but instead 2 imperial rulers (1 inch and 3 inches). This product also comes with a water proof pouch which is a nice touch because the blade is sharp and pointy but the pouch broke on me after getting folded on a corner so I had to make my own duct tape case for it. Other than that I would definitely recommend this product because it's cheap and does the job. There are more expensive versions of this product online but even though some of the functions dont work or dont do their job well, the blade makes up for it because the blade can cut string even though the designated string cutter cannot and it can still strip wires unlike the designated wire strippers.

Purchased this as a present for my dad, and he loved it upon opening it. I can't say he's had to use it yet, but we played around with it a bit, and it is very sturdy and useful. It has a nice weight to it, and I feel confident that it'll hold up well. Only thing is that you have to be verrry careful to remember to remove it from your wallet when flying, etc.

I haven't used this very often but when I have it has been very useful. The string is still in perfect condition. I just hate having to unwind it to using the inch measuring side.

It is a solid piece of metal that fits in the space of credit cards and have found it very useful since the time of receipt, the blade is very sharp and must be handled with care. The price seems very fair, but if you live outside the US, check the shipping cost first because it is quite high.
