Like I saidby Scott A. (3 out of 5 stars)

This product works as advertised. The problem that I have seen is that the shell of the egg cannot hold up to the centrifugal force put on the shell. I want to boil my egg afterwards but the shell starts to crack in the water and it will leak liquid egg into the water. It's still edible but not what I wanted. But then maybe I'm spinning the egg too much. I can't really tell when it's mixed up enough inside the shell. I don't know when to stop. Like I said, the product works but the egg shell can't withstand the centrifugal force put on it.
Every Day for an Omelet

I used to have a Popeil Inside the Egg Scrambler, which I loved. A replacement was hard to find. I thought I would try the Golden Goose, and I have been impressed. Yes, at first it took a bit of practice to get the 3 pieces to fit together properly. Yes, at first the yellow ring was difficult to twist into place. Yes, I've had a few cracked eggs (surprisingly only with the "best" eggs). But now this has become a daily routine for me. I absolutely love the resulting omelets, and there are fewer dishes and utensils to clean. I count 25 tugs on the cord and get perfect results every time. I haven't tried hard-boiled yet, but will use a steamer, rather than a pot of water, when I do.
Product works, but eggs are tricky

I didn't really have any problem getting the egg to scramble in the shell unlike other reviewers. The problem is the eggs become very fragile and if you try to hard-boil them, they almost always crack. I think this really requires a sous-vide to do correctly, but I haven't tried that yet. Even for the few eggs that didn't crack, its nearly impossible to peel without destroying the egg. All of these problems stem from the membrane being ripped off the shell from inside.
One thing that is nice though, is to pre-scramble eggs in the carton and then use them throughout the week for omelettes. The already mixed eggs make it really fast and easy.
Anyway, I don't have much complaints about the product itself because it does work, its just slightly misleading to say it can easily make those 'golden eggs'.
Difficult to use but does work.

Works as described, but takes practice to master. A friend of mine can't get it to work at all and I can spin it on my first attempt. But unless your doing party tricks, this device is practically useless.
Once the eggs have been scrambled it is very difficult to boil them as the shells have become extremely brittle and split open while boiling even if you set them in the water gently. After they have boiled they are almost impossible to peel so much so that its not worth the effort. I thought before I bought this, Hey, It would be great to have a hard boiled scrambled egg in the fridge i can grab and go for breakfast! But after 5 minuets of picking off every last piece of shell and losing 1/4 of the egg in the processes it proved to be more time consuming then just microwaving my eggs in the AM.
Pros
Works
Cons
Difficult to master
If boiled, eggs are hard to peel.
So in summery, Save yourself the cost and don't buy another kitchen gadget that'll clog up your kitchen space.
Cool gadget, doesn't always make golden eggs

My husband wanted this for his birthday (weird, I know) and so I bought it, knowing it would make him happy. He loves it and makes scrambled eggs in it, he also spun eggs and boiled them but a few didn't come out golden. My personal opinion of the taste is basically the whole egg tastes like yolk. It is cool to look at but I'm not blown away by the flavor.
Peeling is impossible

Medium-sized eggs are easier to install. Use older eggs, not fresh, they are slightly easier to peel. Make sure the device is fully put-together (the gold ring is locked down.) Even if you steam-boil these eggs, they tend to crack and explode. Tastes like a frothy scrambled egg. Not worth $20. No instructions included, so you have to either figure it out on your own, or go to their website and watch a video.
Pros: Yay it is fun! Zoom zoom. Magically pre-scrambled egg.
Cons: Boo - peeling is impossible, the shell sticks to the cooked egg. Size & age of egg is an issue. Hard to twist the device closed, and then to re-open it.
TL;DR - $20 is too much to spend for this device. I do not recommend.
This is one awesome way to scramble an egg before you either hardboil

This is one awesome way to scramble an egg before you either hardboil, or crack over a frying pan. It really does work. Depending on the temperate and age of the egg, expect 40 - 50 spins before completely mixed.
Also be aware that whether cracking and dumping, or after boiling these mixed eggs...they are under pressure. They won't explode, but they nearly do. Let cool before cracking open.
Last tip: if eating after boiling, crack the top off one end, and spoon the mixed egg out. "Peeling" is impossible with a mixed up egg.
Awesome product!

If you are going to buy a product that scrambles the egg in the shell, this is the one you should buy. It is well built and sturdy. I half expected it to be flimsy, with thin cheap plastic. But its quite the opposite. Heavy plastic, thick rope, definitely built well.
IF you like to spend a lot of time

IF you like to spend a lot of time , not only a min of 45 seconds of violent spinning but an insane time pealing these eggs then this device is for you. I found that to get the eggs they promise one has to 'spin' this device right around 1 minuet. The eggs I prepared were along side 'unspun' eggs. The spun eggs were ridiculous to peal, tiny bits n pieces while the 'unspun' eggs pealed as always with no issues. Sadly worst $20 I've spent.

It may just be that I'm using it wrong but every time I try to boil an egg that I've scramble with this device it cracks in the water before it's cooked. Of course it would be easier to tell if the problem was the device or how I'm using it if it came with ANY DIRECTIONS.
