This is a Chinese brand Star lighter. For the price, I wasn't expecting a genuine Zippo.

It's a novelty. Will definitely start chipping in a pocket with some change, mine is already chipping on the closing end of the top cover just by opening it and closing a few times and the force of the impact.

Otherwise, it operates as it should. Build quality is okay for something of this price, not quite Zippo level fit and finish. I'll carry it around for a while, see how it does.

Normal painted lighter, is more of a collectible if anything.

Paint would begin to chip deteriorate over normal use and wear. Specially if you got it into your pocket.

Cheap cheap cheap. Drop it once and it's "Game Over" and it does not strike first time every time like the zippo brand does.

This lighter shipped fast and is of high quality. The design is pristine and holds up well when other things are in your pocket. I can light it driving in the car with windows down and it works just as well as Zippo. I have gotten many compliments on the design.
