Please consider your dogs comfort first. With anything new it takes time for them to adjust. To use: Just press down on the nozzle and you're off. Please keep in mind that although dog-safe, Petpaint should not be sprayed in the eyes, mouth, on open wounds, in cuts or any other tender areas. General steps: 1) Shake can to mix PetPaint. 2) Lay your outlines. 3) Fill in color or shading. 4) Enjoy! Spray patterns can be adjusted with distance from animal. Use stencils for nice detailed edges, shapes and symbols. Use your dog's natural color patterns to accent your design. For brilliant color on dark animals spray white first then your final color over the white base. PetPaint requires a minimal amount of time to dry. PetPaint takes about 10-20 seconds but upwards of two minutes will ensure maximum dryness. PetPaint can be washed off with the same mild shampoo and water used when giving dogs their regular baths. PetPaint is safe for dogs but is not recommended for puppies under 6 months old. PetPaint is designed to be safe in its application on dogs which includes ingestion from chewing and licking.

I thought this would be fun. I watched several videos on the product because I wanted something easy to use for a photo shoot but also I wanted it to wash out easily. I am a dog groomer and saw groomers spraying it in their shops on customers dogs. so I was eager to try it. first thing I did was read the instructions and it say use in a well ventilated area. so I opened my door and a window and just spray a little squirt on a paper towel to see how it smelted. It stunk up my whole grooming shop. There is no way I could do this inside. so I brought my grooming table outside and gave it a try. The color was great I got Poodle Pink it it sure was bright but the sound of the spray scared my dog and although it says dries in seconds 10 minutes later it was still wet. so I ended up doing a quick shoot with it still wet then brought the dog in to wash it out. after 3 washes there are parts of her that are still pink. I threw what was left in the can away because I wouldn't use it again.

Great spray paint for my Maltese but it easily comes off which is good cause you don't struggle much when washing it off with a bath. Was able to last all day on her.

I bought this product directly from the PetPaint website, and it was a complete waste of money and terrible experience. I used two full cans on my dog, and it did not show up at all. You could not even notice the coloring on his fur, but it rubbed off every time his fur made contact with something else so it was a huge mess for nothing. My dog has mixed coloring, and the small white parts were stained from the pet, yet other parts you couldn't even notice the paint coloring at all. It was a huge waste of time and money. When I emailed them to let them know that I was I satisfied with my order, a woman called me two weeks later and left a rude message saying "I'm not sure what you want you us to do", but she said I could call her back if I wanted to discuss it further. I responded to her very dismissive message saying that I was unsatisfied with her level of customer service, and she actually emailed me back and called me rude. It was the most unprofessional customer service experience. Not only was the product disappointing, but the level of customer service was downright insulting.
